    Senior Area Manager

     

     Reports to Regional Manager

    Reporting Level Team Manager

    Geographic Scope Local

    What You Will Be Accountable For

    • Develop and drive an area operational plan as per the company priorities
    • Work closely with the Regional Manager to prepare Area plans as per the Company’s growth agenda
    • Coordinate implementation of Brand and Trade Programmes in the area which are developed by the Business Development and Brand teams
    • Train and develop core area team members to maintain a high-performance environment
    • Empower and encourage core area members to ensure quality in execution & drive excellence throughout the Area
    • Handle legal, insurance and cash collection issues ensuring that contracts and procedures are written and finalized in line with company procedures and legal requirements to minimise commercial risks
    • Maintain the budget for trade programmes for the area and ensure efficient utilization

    Essential Experience, Skills And Knowledge

    • Has a Bachelors' degree (minimum) in any subject
    • Has at least 2 years of experience in Trade within FMCG category
    • Skills in trade marketing, customer engagement, account management, & field operations
    • Ability to empower, mentor and develop people
    • Ability to develop and manage relationships with customers, external suppliers and commercial partners
