Senior Global Communications Manager at Dentons

This role will support our communications activities across the Firm, with over 21,000 people in more than 200 locations across more than 80 countries.
Key Responsibilities

• Strategically oversee (including extensive writing, editing, and management) a variety of global internal communications materials, vehicles and processes.
• Develop and manage multiple, complex content streams for regular internal communications, including interfacing with people across every region of the Firm.
• Research, draft and compile global articles, opinion pieces and external announcements.
• Manage various regular internal communications to help Firm leadership communicate effectively, articulate key priorities and enhance firm-wide engagement.
• Identify and pursue new channels (both internal and external) of communications to support the Firm’s overall goals.
• Connect leadership and growth priorities with firm-wide initiatives.
• Coordinate global projects, key liaison with Brand, Digital, Marketing and Business Development teams.
• Act as senior communications team member on global growth, ESG and leadership communications.
• Support major integrated global marketing campaigns through development and execution of communications plans.
• Compose and disseminate internal and external communications from leadership, including combinations and new initiative communications.
• Write and promote thought leadership articles for senior leaders as needed.
• Maintain editorial oversight of Dentons' website and global portal content.
• Help drive media relations initiatives.
• Provide oversight for crisis communications globally and across individual regions as needed.

About You:

• Have significant previous experience in global communications within a corporate and/or professional services organization; strong experience in the communications field and wish to produce high quality international communications that delivers impactful results.
• Should thrive whilst working under pressure and be able to multi-task.
• Use creative communications techniques to drive, develop and implement an internal communications strategy and work across the business, leading all internal communications activities.
• Ability to engage and inform stakeholders/employees across the firm.
• Have a proven track record in stakeholder engagement at all levels and be experienced in forming long lasting business relationships.
• Have proven experience of researching and writing internal stories and utilizing a mix of communication channels.
• Have strong multi-channel management, including developing, sourcing, researching, writing, curating and developing content, including multi-media content.
• Strong project management experience with multi-faceted written projects and extensive experience working with layers of approval.
• Impeccable attention to detail and ability to work with a wide variety of people across regions and projects in a collective and collaborative manner.
• Ability to learn and utilise new and emerging technology to improve communication efforts.
