Senior Software Development Engineer (Contractor) at CSG International

What you'll do

• You will report to the Director of Project Services to contribute towards the usage of product and industry knowledge to assist customers in solving business problems, and transforming and streamlining their operational and business processes
• Partner with end-user to establish requirements and complete technical documentation
• Design, write code, modify and debug CSG product applications while performing bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products
• Help with detailed architectural designs and provide guidance on complex software development assignments
• Provide support to customers and resolve technical issues and error messages encountered in a live production environment
• Lead a team of software developers and assist the architects in preparing the FDD

You should have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business or equivalent education/experience required
• Proficient in English in a business environment
• 6 years of programming or software development experience in C, C++, GDC, Python, Postgres, and Oracle
• 2 years of Singleview experience
• Experience in the Telecommunications industry or related product knowledge e.g. billing, mediation, provisioning, or settlement
• Travelling to South Africa will be required.
