Minimum two(2) to five(5) years’ appropriate experience related to prevailing water and sanitation legislation, regulations, policy and procedures; water services infrastructure operations and maintenance
Knowledge of engineering principles related to water and sewer services
Knowledge of AutoCAD/GIS
A valid Code EB driver’s licence
Incumbent will be required to work independently with limited supervision.
Key Performance Areas
Provide technical advice pertaining to planned maintenance systems and documentation
Assist with the implementation of the capital and operating budgets of the region
To deliver on the capital works programme by: Preparation of theoretical plans to outline and resolve identified problematic areas. Compiling design specifications and tender preparation for various projects.
Oversee construction and operations to ensure compliance with design and tender specifications
Support depots with the operation and maintenance of the water and sewer networks
Providing developers and consultants with services information and understanding the way leaves process.
