    Supervisor: Stock

    Job Description

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  
    Customer  

    • To eliminate customer queries.
    • To enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Display a total commitment to putting the customer first.
    • Liaise with customers regarding queries on deliveries.
    • Follow up to ensure all customer promises are executed.
    • Evaluate goods returned from customers.
    • Assist drivers with delivery addresses and contact details for customers.

    Finance

    • To ensure that stock balances by doing accurate shipments.
    • To avoid lost picking slips.
    • To enhance customer service.
    • To adhere to SLA.

    Human Capital

    • Identify training that is required.

    Internal Processes

    • Check Astea for orders ready to release on a continuous basis.
    • Release orders due and for which stock is available.
    • Hand pick slips to pickers.
    • On receipt of picking slips from pickers convert pick slips into delivery notes for actual quantities picked.
    • Follow up with pickers regarding picking slips not returned within two hours from issue.
    • Liaise with work control re urgent requirements.
    • Liaise with transporters regarding prioritising of deliveries according to arrangements with customers.
    • Advise management in case pickers cannot find the stock.
    • To ensure that the physical stock and delivery notes as per Astea balance.
    • Make two copies of each delivery note and attach to the original DD.
    • Hand all Delivery documents to security.
    • Ensure that all pick slips issued are accounted for by end of day.
    • Ensure all scheduled picking and packing of products to External & Internal Customers are affected timeously to meet the SLA’s set for delivery & collection.
    • Assemble customer orders for delivery.
    • Physically pick orders for technicians when we are short staffed or if the orders are urgently requested.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Governance, Risk and Business Continuity Management
    • Exhibit a proactive approach to attending to customer problems/needs to avoid customer dissatisfaction at all costs.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    Educational Qualification

    • Grade 12
    • Diploma advantageous

    Years of Experience

    • 2 - 4 years Supervisory experience

    Education

    • Advanced Diploma, National Certificate Level 4 (N4) / Grade 12  (Required)
