Tutor (60%) x 2 Posts [3 Year Contract] at University of the Witwatersrand

Brief Description        
Requirements: 

• A Masters degree in psychology
• Experience in teaching at a tertiary level
• Teaching and research interests in general psychology, including topics such as research methods, social, personality, developmental, abnormal and health psychology.

Advantages:

• Ability to teach statistics and quantitative psychology 
• Progress towards a PhD
• Registration with the HPCSA in the category of Research Psychologist for a period of three years or more 

This will be a three year contract post.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching of courses in research methods and/or psychology at undergraduate and postgraduate level; contribution to course-level curriculum development and transformation; academic administration; supervision of postgraduate students; and willingness to participate in the intellectual and public life of the school and university. The contract is at 60%: this is calculated to include a full teaching, supervision and administrative load but no research requirements.
