    Business Calling Support, Epiroc

    Your mission

    • In the dynamic environment of Epiroc, your role as a dedicated Business Calling Support technician is pivotal for the efficient maintenance management of critical IT applications. Working closely with key business stakeholders, you'll comprehend unique processes and deliver precise support. Reporting directly to the Manager of IT Business Calling Intelligence, you'll collaboratively engage with diverse teams, including Business Calling Specialists at Level 3 support. Your influence spans globally, managing solutions like Cisco Jabber, Genesys, and MS Team External Calling within Business Calling Intelligence. Operationally, tasks include ELA, Incident and Problem Management, Voice Gateway Monitoring, Project Coordination, Troubleshooting, and proactive monitoring of Business Calling Intelligence.
    • Tactically, you'll enhance Business Calling Intelligence through change processes, project participation, and contribution to process development. The role doesn't involve specific strategic responsibilities, with authorization aligned with The Epiroc Way, Epiroc IT strategy, and security policies

    Your profile

    • With 2-3 years of IT Support experience, preferably in a multinational organization, you bring a solid foundation. An essential understanding of business processes, coupled with a university degree or equivalent working experience, is crucial. Demonstrating deep knowledge of Business Calling functionality, proficiency in Cisco Jabber and Voice Gateway Monitoring, and a working knowledge of LAN/WAN, data networks, and protocols are expected. Your logical mindset enables complex analysis, complemented by proficiency in written and spoken English.
    • Success in this role hinges on a strong collaborative spirit, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, an enterprising personality, and the ability to deliver within given frames. Good analytical and administration skills are also expected, contributing to the dynamic and innovative culture at Epiroc.

    Electronic Design Engineer

    Mission:

    To innovate and create cutting-edge electronic solutions that enhance functionality, efficiency, and reliability across our industry.

    Main Responsibilities or Functions of Job:

    • Design and develop electronic systems for Mernok’s current and future Proximity Detection Systems
    • Develop embedded applications for microcontrollers / microprocessor in control systems
    • Design Electronic applications - from schematic capture, PCB layout to test, planning and implementation to meet requirements, using good engineering practices
    • Support and maintain existing product designs
    • Develop component qualification processes for extreme environments
    • Continually improve Mernok’s design methodology and development processes
    • Define internal interfaces between parts of the electronics
    • Consider system aspects that may affect the electronics, including noise and power distribution.
    • Implement the design in hardware, firmware and software
    • Test the hardware and implement corrections as necessary
    • Generate production data packs and product support documentation
    • Maintain existing products in terms of software changes, PCB updates, firmware changes and documentation
    • Simulations of the design at various levels
    • Assist production to deliver high quality product
    • Assist clients when required
    • Assist with installations
    • Derive requirements for the complex electronics
    • Ensure external interfaces match the specification, including voltage level and timing.
    • Synthesize, place and route, etc. designs
    • Program complex electronics
    • Test the final hardware and implement corrections as necessary
    • Perform system safety analyses and identify safety verifications required
    • Verify that safety features and controls are successfully implemented
    • Identify if complex electronics can cause a hazard or are part of a hazard control
    • Ensure that design errors in complex electronics are considered as a failure mode
    • Assess tools used to design and implement complex electronics
    • Review subsystem requirements for proper decomposition from system requirements

    Required Skills and Capabilities:

    • Assess implementation against requirements and design
    • Ensure development and supporting processes (e.g. Configuration Management, ESD) are in place and followed
    • Review choice of parts; Provide guidance on preferred parts
    • Ensure electronics are assembled / manufactured to acceptable standards
    • Perform or witness testing at various system and subsystems
    • Ensure software tools used for complex electronic design and programming are archived and controlled
    • Ensure complex electronic designs are captured in the Configuration Management system
    • Ensure problem reporting, tracking, and corrective action occur for all systems
    • Ensure changes to complex electronic designs are reviewed, evaluated for impacts, and approved
    • Provide official builds for formal programming / testing
    • Ensure compliance with company’s OHS policies and actively promote safety within the work environment
    • Should be able to follow structure and standards but still be innovative
    • Must be able to perform under pressure
    • Willingness to work beyond normal office hours when required..

    Education and Experience:

    • BEng (Electronic) or BEng (Computer)
    • 3-5 years experience
    • Must be able to excel in a team of designers and independent enough to handle smaller projects alone

    Regional Order Fulfillment Manager

    Mission    

    The mission is to reinforce and support Supply Chain AFR region, with focus on supply chain operational excellence, efficiency as well as cost control. To support the supply chain transformation to an integrated global model including change management in your area of responsibility.

    Why we need you:

    • Ability to act as Subject Matter Expert and guide stakeholders in the area of Order Fulfillment.
    • Manage stakeholder relationships to build credibility, ensure proactive engagement, facilitate an understanding of the supply chain practices and to solve problems to minimise risk to the business.
    • Keep up to date with best practise and ensure continuous improvement of inbound replenishment practices; and facilitate change as the business landscape requires a different approach.
    • Lead, coach, manage and develop those resources allocated to you, to ensure quality and timeous performance delivery.

    What you’ll do:

    • Regional KPI monitoring and Reporting
    • On time delivery of customer orders (internal & external)
    • Staff cost for the regional Order Fulfillment team
    • Handling time for ACIGN tickets related to order fulfilment.
    • SIFOT and eventually DIFOT (if applicable)
    • Customer service performance and productivity reports
    • Other defined KPI's relevant for Order Fulfillment in region
    • Outbound supply management including monitoring of key OF
    • Supports project management of regional supply chain transformation projects.
    • Work close with customer centers, other regions and other functions to foster continues operational excellence.
    • Ensure effectiveness of all operational processes impacting performance
    • Collaboration with global functions and regional process specialist for the development of global processes, policies and procedures
    • Continuous operational process improvement

    • Recruitment and selection of Order Fulfillment team's in the region (either direct reports or grandfather interviews in sub-regions/countries
    • Active management of the Order Fulfillment team
    • Cross-competence development across the team

    The profile we are looking for:

    • Extensive management experience within the Order Fulfillment function.
    • Degree in economics / industrial economics / logistics or equivalent.
    • Good working knowledge of English, both verbally and written.
    • Knowledge of the mining / manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
    • Skilled on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • Proven experience working with IT business tools.
    • Ability to build relationships and customer responsiveness.
    • The ability to solve new, ambiguous and complex problems and apply appropriate judgement in decision making.
    • Skilled in managing, coaching and developing a team.
