    Systems Administrator – Centurion

    Qualifications

    • Diploma in Information Technology (or related)
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the role of a System Administrator
    • 3-5 years’ Experience in Oracle System

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure successful integration and maintenance with 3rd party systems to ensure system availability.
    • Ensure that necessary documentation is created and available to ensure business continuity.
    • Set-up and manage output devices including the administration of output management utilities.
    • Performs on-site and remote technical support.
    • Provides system support.
    • Transfers applicable skills to the IT team and end users.
    • Troubleshoots problems reported by users.
    • Performs periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.

    Snr Hydrogeologist / Research

    Requirements:

    • A Master’s degree in hydrogeology; preference being a doctoral degree in hydrogeology;
    • At least five years’ experience in hydrogeology as it relates to geochemistry or geology and chemistry, and the understanding of hydrogeological impacts of land-use changes through groundwater resource quality measurements
    • Applied knowledge and understanding of geochemical investigations with particular focus on groundwater resource quality assessments and monitoring techniques
    • Conceptualisation, structuring, management and implementation of multi-disciplinary research projects

    Surface Water Modelling - Snr Research

    Responsibilities:

    • Particular focus will be on hydrological (surface water) modelling in support of resource quantity and quality assessments and techniques to promote smart water use, including the development of high-quality and commecialisable/implementable technical outputs.
    • Write, and review research proposals; research reports, client reports and peer-reviewed publications
    • Conceptualise, structure, manage and implement multi-disciplinary research projects
    • Liaison with both internal and external clients and other relevant stakeholders

    Requirements include:

    • A Master’s degree in hydrology is the minimum requirement but the preference being a doctoral degree in hydrology
    • At least five years’ experience in hydrology as it relates to hydrological modelling and understanding of hydrological impacts of land-use changes through surface water quality and quantity assessments
    • At least five years’ experience in hydrological modelling, water assessments and techniques

    Human Resources Officer (Manufacturing) – Roodepoort

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Manage day-to day HR functions
    • Ensure that employee documentation is filed and kept in order
    • Audit, transform and improve employee filing/record-keeping systems

    Technical Division Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Technical management, design, and repairs of accelerator control electronics
    • Development of relevant software.
    • Maintenance of all electronics sub-systems within laboratory.
    • Design, develop and implement new electronics equipment required by users of the laboratory.
    • Transfer skills and mentor junior members of division.
    • Operational philosophies and software specifications for all accelerator related facilities.
    • Decision making and supervision of division’s tasks, through managing all responsible staff members. Allocation of division’s resources to meet user needs.
    • Ensuring that all / any audit findings highlighted in the department are addressed / resolved and any deviations from policies and procedures to be clearly documented.
    • Ensuring that all expenditure is within the approved planned budget and in line with the purpose of the division.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Sc / B.Eng / B.Tech (Electronic Engineering) or equivalent degree.
    • 10 years’ experience in electronics, software design, development, and maintenance.
    • At least 3 years leadership experience in a technical environment at junior management level
    • Experience in both analogue and digital electronics design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
    • Experience in laboratory instrumentation and control systems.
    • Some experience in software development.

    Debtors Clerk - Roodepoort

    Requirement

    • Be immediately available
    • Preferably reside in the Greater Roodepoort area
    • Own vehicle essential
    • Minimum 2 years pure Debtors experience
    • Matric certificate is essential
    • Must be fully qualified to do all aspects of credit control

    • Will be required to apply for bank codes for new account and review accounts monthly
    • Will be required to take out credit reports for new account and review accounts monthly
    • From time to time it may be required of you to perform duties outside the normal scope of your work
