    Data Capturer (PPPrev)_UMG - Pietermaritzburg

    Purpose of the position: 

    • To capture incoming clinical, structural behavioural and IES related data on client rendered services from the facilities, mobile and outreach teams; maintain electronic database/s for data captured; check data correctness, completeness, consistency and verify data by liaising with relevant staff and performing routine data quality checks and assessments. 

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12 coupled with one of more years related experience and/or training in HIV/AIDS and STI programmes; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Certificate in database management
    • Experience in capturing data, maintaining and/or updating databases 
    • Data analysis which includes the whole data management process
    • 3 years’ experience with HIV, AIDS and STI programme data
    • TIER.Net and information management background

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Neatly file PrEP client folders at the regional office. 
    • Retrieve client folders based on schedules provided by clinical staff  
    • Update client information and enter newly initiated clients on the CommCare database 
    • Capture data at catchment facilities where required on the TIER.Net PrEP module 
    • Assist in preparing daily/weekly reports, verifying data and populating weekly and monthly trackers
    • Assist with the HTS, PPPrev and PrEP RDQAs as determined by M&E department
    • Assist with data verifications (incl. HTS and PrEP) 
    • Assist M&E Coordinator in providing monthly data to THC management, DoH / partners / stakeholders
    • Assist to update results from NHLS on PrEP files/ database
    • Capture clients from PPPrev interventions on the PPPrev database 
    • Assist Data Monitors to ensure that every client signed the intervention registers and POPIA consent form
    • Attend weekly QI meetings as required

    Finance Administrator - Cape Town

    Purpose of the position 

    • The successful applicant will perform project bookkeeping as well as reporting and administration duties.   

    Minimum Requirements

    Office Administrator - Pietermatizburg

    Purpose of the position

    • To support and enhance the Site Manager and management team’s effectiveness using a variety of administrative, project management, communication & organisational skills.

    Facility Coordinator - Queenstown

    Purpose of the position:

     

    • The Facility Coordinator will lead and manage the implementation of interventions at district to site level. They will coordinate and work with M&E teams for weekly meetings and review of performance, refine weekly plans in light of yield/challenges and develop QI projects. They will have line management of various coordinators within districts (supervising clinical, support and psychosocial teams etc.) and ensure effective implementation of a peer driven model for case management working collaboratively with a sub-recipient organisation. They will support delivery of differentiated HTS and models of care: HIVSS, index testing, recency testing.
    • The Facility Coordinator will ensure effective collaboration between teams, especially clinical and M&E teams. They will engage with and establish optimal working relationships with stakeholders (district DOH, health care facilities, C&T networks and other implementing organisations). They will ensure reporting to and communication with the C&T regional manager,

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Bachelors’ degree/diploma in Nursing Science, health or equivalent
    • Post graduate qualification will be an added advantage

    • NIMART trained

    HAST Counsellor - Ngcobo

    The purpose of the position:

    • To provide HIV Testing Services to clients accessing public health services as part of IHSS support to the facilities through the district roving mentor teams in reaching their 95-95-95 targets as directed by the FPD USAID work plan and overall IHSS/NDoH strategy to reach the 95-95-95 targets.

    Minimum Requirements

    Case Officer - Mthatha

    Purpose of the position:

    • Responsible for implementing and monitoring the Case Management Model (CMM) through adherence support for ART patients until they are eligible for decanting to any of the differentiated models of care.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12 certificate
    • Enrolled nurse qualification will be an added advantage (most suitable for pediatric streams)

    • Phone clients and conducts daily linkage to a CHW or any appropriate community person for those who missed their appointment; pay a visit to clients who missed their appointments, patients who are not virally suppressed, and patients needing additional care
    • Issue routine reminders according to the schedule of appointments by sending SMS reminders
    • Responding to messages from clients and crafting an appropriate and professional response
    • Refer patients for enrolment in support groups according to the patient’s preference
