    Finance Administrator - Atlantis

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
    • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable, and conduct regular reconciliation's
    • Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping
    • Facilitate the handling of supplier and customer invoices, including follow-ups
    • Participate in monthly and yearly closing processes
    • Aid in inventory management and adjustments
    • Support the creation and maintenance of budgeting and forecasting tools
    • Provide other administrative support to the accounting department and management as needed

    Requirements:

    • Financial administration related qualification would be beneficial
    • At least 2 years experience
    • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Pastel
    • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
    • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data

    Senior Financial Accountant

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the finance team
    • Monitor cash management daily and complete bank reconciliations.
    • Manage processes relating to tax provisional returns, annual returns and related payments.
    • Manage banking relationships.
    • Review and submit VAT and tax returns.
    • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
    • Preparation and review of management accounts.
    • Reporting (Exco, ALCO, cash forecast, stock holding etc)
    • Budget: preparation and uploading - monitoring monthly actual performance against budget.

    Accounts Payable Clerk

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the daily vendor payment cycle
    • Process accounts and outgoing payments
    • Perform day to day financial transactions
    • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger
    • Verify discrepancies by and resolve suppliers billing issues
    • Agree invoice to supporting documentation in line with standard operating procedure
    • Analysis of expense and invoice reports
    • Accurate processing of intercompany transactions
    • Maintain age analysis

    Requirements:

    Financial Controller - Cape Town

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing cashbook activities
    • Data capturing and reconciliation
    • Creditors control responsibilities
    • Supervise the accounting team
    • Assist with budget model preparation, managing Vans account, and preparing payment forecasts based on goods landed
    • Weekly review of FEC
    • Assist auditors with queries during audits and handling ad hoc duties
    • Monthly reporting tasks
    • Monitoring weekly sales, review margins, and reconcile sales systems (POS) and inventory valuation
    • Assist Financial Manager in monthly provisions, including FX provisions, stock write-off provision, and payroll reconciliation
    • Update rental commitment schedules and reconcile POS daily with financial controller approval

    Requirements:

    • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance related qualification (Completed SAICA Articles would be preferred) 
    • Previous experience in a financial supervision role

    Responsibilities: 

    • Daily/Weekly/Monthly financial accounting and management reporting
    • Monthly VAT reporting
    • Completion of monthly management reporting packs

    Senior Payment Operations Assistant

    Responsibilities: 

    Payment processing 

    • Ensure timeous and accurate cross-border payments 
    • Ensure compliance with regulations and verify payment details 
    • Resolve payment queries and monitor payment queues 
    • Document record keeping 

    Reconcile records of all transactions 

    • Ensure relevant documents are completed and saved 
    • Prepare reports on transactions for management to review 

    Client support 

    • Resolve client queries, provide excellent customer service 
    • Assists clients with payment queries and concerns 
    • Work with Case Management team to address clients effectively 

    Compliance and Regulation 

    • Keep up to date with regulations and compliance requirements 
    • Implement and maintain compliance procedures and controls

    Process improvement 

    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency 
    • Work with team members to streamline processes and minimize errors 
    • Implement improvements to payment processing procedures 
    • Work with Finance team, ensure queries and recon issues are resolved 

    Requirements: 

    • Minimum of completed Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance/Business 
    • Must have previous experience in Financial Services or Banking 
    • Experience working in Salesforce or similar CRM accounting software
    • Good MS Office, Excel skills 
    • Client service focussed
    • Excellent planning and time management skills
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
