    Artisan Millwright

    Job Description

    • To maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on site.
    • Day to day maintaining of plant 
    • Fault Finding
    • On the job training
    • Plant and system upgrades / Project management
    • System maintenance
    • Rapid response to break downs
    • Audits (food safety, health & safety and stock control)
    • Working in a factory environment – hot and noisy 
    • Required to work 6 days, overtime, unusual working hours (after hours, weekends and public holidays) and perform standby and call out duties.

    Qualification Requirements

    • Matric 
    • Relevant Trade qualification
    • Registered Millwright (Dept. of Labour) (Red Seal)

    Experience Requirements

    • 3-5 years Millwright experience preferably from the milling environment

    Learning and Development Practitioner - Waterfall

    What will you do:

    • To identify and address identified training needs through the provisions of LD service solutions in line with agreed training plans and budgets for the region
    • To support the execution of national training initiatives within the region, aligned to the overall company skills strategy
    • To ensure external legal compliance in LD through provision of agreed training as required for company legal, industry specific and SETA related requirements
    • To ensure internal compliance to Premier LD quality requirements in terms management information, learning management, learner records and talent development processes and SOPs
    • To facilitate internal training programmes supporting integration to the Premier high-performance culture
    • To conduct audits, assessments, moderation of internal and or external training processes as per plan in order to promote standardization of best practices

    • To support the continuous improvement of Invocoms through training, coaching, formal and informal reviews and advice, in order to drive high performance culture and innovation thinking the Premier Way
    • To build strong external stakeholder relationships with schools and universities in the region, as a method of attracting young talent to the business, via different learning programmes
    • To execute the talent strategy of the business within the region

    Qualification Requirements

    • ODETDP qualification or equivalent (NQF level 5 (Trade or vocational qualification will be advantageous))

    Experience Requirements

    • Training facilitation experience in OBE/NQF context -3 to 5 years – Essential
    • Workplace facilitation and skills consultation experience – 3 to 5 years – Essential
    • Working experience in FMCG/manufacturing industry – 3 to 5 years - Desirable
    • Working experience on implementing blended learning solutions and facilitation via different technological platforms - Desirable

    Sales Supervisor

    Job Description

    • To maximize the route potential thus ensuring profitable availability. 
    • Managing route sales, driver shorts, crates and PODs through your team consisting of Salesman Drivers and Sales Assistants.
    • Daily couching of Salesman Drivers. 
    • To ensure that Drivers and Vehicles are allocated correctly to enable daily route monitoring, driver debriefing and reporting on the planned vs. actual route adherence. 
    • Daily Route Management of bakery delivery vehicles. 
    • To analyse & report on operational and customer service trends. 
    • To ensure all systems supporting DRM are functional, e.g. (Vigil & Mix Telematics). 
    • Responsible for DRM System reporting to management of daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s hit rates, departure times, excess kilometres, unplanned routes and kilometres. 
    • To control driver shortages. 
    • To control outstanding crates.
    • Overall management of drivers and sales assistants.

    • Min 3 years Sales Supervisory experience, with a strong emphasis on Customer Service Execution in an

    • Computer Literate. 
    • Geographic Information Systems.

    • Working knowledge of Geospatial data (Spatial Data). 
    • Routing and Distribution Optimization.

    Dispatch Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure and support OTIF deliveries by ensuring that vehicles are loaded in full and on-time with quality products according to the customer requirements and pipeline.
    • To ensure cost effective bakery deliveries through loading of the vehicles with the correct capacity per route.
    • Prevent waste due to poor stock management through correct stock rotation as per the dispatch SOP and food safety standards.
    • To ensure a high performing dispatch team through the recruitment, training, coaching and supervision of the team responsible to dispatch good quality products on-time and in full, in line with Premier Way.
    • Improve dispatch efficiencies and reduce costs by ensure good operational process controls are in place.
    • Ensure timeous and fact-based management decision making through the collection, analysis and reporting of dispatch performance against agreed budget and cost parameters in order to ensure continuous improvement in collaboration with the dispatch team and relevant stakeholders.

    Qualification Requirements

    • Tertiary qualification in logistics or Supply chain management

    • 3-5 years Warehouse and inventory management experience in FMCG industry

    General Worker Pan

    Responsibilities:

    • Manually remove materials and products from machines and equipment
    • Stack /palletizes finish cases on appropriate pallets.
    • Inspect materials and products for defects.
    • Date codes each case with the proper manufacturing date /shift on which product is produced.
    • Participate in any Physical Labour work required.
    • Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required +-25kg.
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Fills out finish goods tickets with all required information in a neat and accurate manner.
