    Diesel Mechanic - Trade Test - Red Seal

    Minimum requirements :
    Education:
    Matric or N3 Technical Certificate
    Red Seal - Diesel Mechanic or Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic 

    • Min 5 years experience with servicing and repairing forklifts .
    • Strong Technical experience

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Removes unsafe equipment from the facility operating area and notifies the supervisor.
    • Tests forklift trucks to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
    • Providing technical and diagnostic services to material handling equipment.
    • Repair, preventative maintenance and service of various types of forklift trucks – Diesel, LPG / Petrol, Electric forklifts and warehouse equipment on-site.

    Buyer - Durban

    Purpose of the Job:

    • Ensure that Purchase orders are up to date and follow up with suppliers for delivery

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Proven experience as a Strategic Buyer or similar role in the flexible and packaging industry.
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    • Excellent understanding of procurement processes, market dynamics, and supplier evaluation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Place POs for consumables, Raw Materials, Plates and Factory Maintenance tools, services or parts daily
    • Chase suppliers to meet delivery dates as specified on Purchase orders daily
    • Request Stock Balance Reports and Stock Availability Reports Daily from Raw Material Suppliers and forward to Senior Buyer and Commercial Manager
    • Conduct weekly (ideally Wednesday) meeting with stores team for Consumable stock replenishment

    • Review and modify specifications, purchase orders, contracts, change orders, and related documents as needed.
    • Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions to achieve the best possible value for the organization.
    • Monitor supplier performance, identify and resolve any issues or concerns that may impact delivery or quality.

    Customer Service Representative - Pinetown

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Managing incoming calls and customer service enquiries
    • Capture Customer orders and follow through from start to end to ensure that customers orders are met OTIF
    • Handle customer complaints by liaising with QC team to ensure complaints are closed out in required time frame and provide a solution to prevent a recurrence
    • Type and forward quotations for Prospective Customers 
    • Ensure that customers have forward planned orders with PW so that Raw Material can be secured. An SLA is a pre-requisite in support of forward planning

    • Lead to Sale / Conversion Report - There’s always a reason why all new leads won’t become paying clients. Find out the cause and improve the sales results by tackling the problem with traceable reasons.

    Field Service Technician - Durban

    Education and experience:

    •  Minimum 5 year’s experience in a related field of work
    • Qualified Diesel/Earthmoving Mechanic – Trade Tested.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Establish a daily weekly and monthly schedule, to call on existing clients / customers (key account every 3 weeks all others every 6 weeks) and to engage with new or potentially new clients / customers
    • Expand the Bidvest Laundry Group market share through the aggressive marketing of existing services / products and new services 
    • Monitor and keep management informed of on competitors by gathering market place information on pricing, products, marketing techniques, services, etc.
    • Build client / customer relationship to ensure retention of current business and the proactive renegotiation 
    • of services / products before the renewal date of the existing contract
    • Provide professional sales service (pre-sales and after sales service) through ensuring customer satisfaction
    • Design, implement and maintain a stock receiving, stock issuing and stock taking system and perform

    • Ensure that service contract and schedule (specifications documents / quantities / design, etc.) is drawn up 
    • and signed off by the clients / customer
    • Conduct fittings at clients’ premises at mutually agreed times and ensure that all fittings for all client

    • Create fitting list (order), submit fitting list to the accounts department and ensure that existing account

    Administration:

    • Complete and submit weekly customer call schedules and customer call reports of the previous week to the Sales manager on every Monday
    • Calculate, complete and submit all commission reports to the Sales manager by the 10th day of each month  every month
    • Ensure that all documentation relating to purchases, additional, exchanges, renewals, deducts, 
    • withdrawals, name changes, residual changes, on loans, replacements, badge information, artwork and 
    • other information is correctly completed and submitted to the relevant people timeously.
