    Cleaner

    Job Summary

    • This role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic workplace by carrying out daily cleaning and housekeeping tasks across office areas. The position includes cleaning and sanitising facilities, managing waste, restocking supplies, and reporting any maintenance issues to ensure the environment remains orderly and fully functional.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment
    • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming offices
    • Clean and sanitise office areas and all toilets
    • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, walls, doors, and windowsills
    • Clean interior windows and ensure general tidiness of offices
    • Empty and manage waste bins
    • Refill bathroom supplies such as soap
    • Wash curtains and cleaning cloths as required
    • Report any maintenance or plumbing issues to the relevant personnel
    • Carry out general housekeeping duties to ensure the workplace remains organised and presentable

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Rigorous technical cleaning abilities
    • Ability to safely handle chemical products
    • Strong time management and organising skills
    • Trustworthy and reliable
    • Own transport
