    Teaching and Learning Assistant - Cape Town

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Administration

    • Filing of lecturer/ student consultations 
    • Peer review documentation and administration  
    • Assist and support in material issuing and collecting for lecturers (lecturer resource pack, lecturer handbook, access tag, note book, stationery).
    • Ordering stationery for lecturers.  
    • Ensuring the timetable is issued to OPS for capturing purposes on CAMS.   
    • Compiling and coordinating assignment due dates in association with PC and OPS team.
    • Administrative duties relating to Lecturer/ Student Orientation and any other student support workshops offered by the T&L (feedback forms, registers etc.).
    • Agenda setting, minute of meetings (Academic Committee Meeting).
    • Filing of lecturer/ student consultations 

    Events Management

    • With the support and input from the PM/VPA arranges and coordinates T&L events such as, Lecturer and student Orientation, HoP visits, Directors Visit, Pulse visit, Celebrating T&L, Top Achievers Awards, CAT and CSO visits.
    • Manages and coordinates bookings of venues; Coordinates catch-up/master/ booster session schedules as per information received from PM/VPA.
    • Graduation RSVP’s for lecturers (academic regalia, attendance, seating arrangements).

    Student Wellness Coordinator - Cape Town

    Duties and responsibilities

    Management of the Student Council

    • Create a campus-specific planner for CE projects and manage the implementation thereof.
    • Ensure the active functioning of the CE committee of the Student Council
    • Monitor, evaluate and analyse projects to inform future planning & measure the impact of projects.
    • Plan and implement the SC election process.
    • Provide enough training, team building and development opportunities for the SC.

    Minimum Requirements

    ICT Support - Cape Town

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Assist users with hardware and software issues.
    • Set up new machines for staff and students via WDS or SCCM.
    • Ensure that SLAs with both Staff and students are met.
    • Password Management and general account management.

    Lecturer -Intermediate Phase Specialising in Social Science (Full-Time)
