    Administrative Assistant: Faculty - (1718)

    Reporting to the Faculty Manager, the appointee will be responsible for assisting with:

    • Academic Administration
    • Reception Duties, including booking for the computer lab and ensure appropriate use of the laboratory at all times
    • Enquiry Management
    • Marketing & Recruitment, relating to website and other social media platforms
    • Meeting Administration
    • Human Resources Administration General Administration includes office administration, assisting document management, liaising with service providers, e.g. Technical Services, Audio Visual Services, etc. 

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric Certificate with at least 2 years administrative experience; 
    • Proficiency in computer programmes/software packages e.g. Word; Excel / MS Office Suites / Power Point; 
    • Administrative experience in a Higher Education environment as well as knowledge of student administration systems would be advantageous.

    Administrator - (1719)

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibility areas:

    Act as Personal Assistant to the Dean;

    • Enquiry Management;
    • Stakeholder Engagement;
    • Committee Administration;
    • Financial Administration including budget administration and procurement;
    • Marketing & Recruitment;
    • Event Organization;
    • Meeting Administration;
    • Human Resources Administration;
    • Reception Duties;
    • General Administration and Reporting including office administration, assisting document management, liaising with service providers, e.g. Technical Services, Audio Visual Services, etc.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric Certificate and at least a Diploma with at least 3-5 years administrative experience;
    • Proficiency in computer programmes/software packages e.g. Word; Excel / MS Office Suites / Power Point;

    Required competencies:

    • Demonstrated communicative, organisational and interpersonal skills; 
    • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, and to adhere to and meet strict deadlines; 
    • Ability to work without supervision and to pay attention to detail.
    • Excellent minute and report writing skills

    Added advantage and preferences:

    • Administrative experience in a Higher Education environment
    • Knowledge of student administration systems
    • Experience with report writing
    • Marketing and public relations
    • Experience in Financial Administration or Financial Management

    Systems Administrator: Networks - (1712)

    The Key Responsibilities of the incumbent include the following: 

    • Member of the Networks unit responsible for overall network support across multiple campuses,
    • Configure, implement, maintain network equipment including core, datacentre and enterprise switches, AP’s, WLC, IPT and routers,
    • Contribute to development of procedures and processes for enterprise network operations,
    • Contribute to developing technology standards and best practices for the enterprise network,
    • Contribute to the team in analysing technology industry and market trends, and determining potential impact upon the enterprise,
    • Support integrated network technologies such as LAN, WAN, Wireless, convergence and other digital communication technologies,
    • Requisite strong network design background, configuration and optimisation skills,
    • Contribute to documenting and maintaining inventory of network equipment and topology,
    • Contribute to network capacity planning,
    • Familiar with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques,
    • Work closely with the datacentre infrastructure team,
    • Experiential exposure to network best practice frameworks, change control, opensource technologies and operating systems. 

    Minimum Requirements

    • A B-degree or National Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or IT related field,
    • Or Matric and relevant accredited (industry recognised) professional certification/s in networking technologies with demonstrated five years’ experience in a datacentre environment at a large organisation or educational institution.
