    Key Purpose

    The SQL Developer will be a part of a dynamic and diverse Database Operation Team.     Security Engineer

    Key Purpose

    The Security Engineer is responsible for designing and building security solutions for Discovery Bank. The incumbent will develop and integrate security solutions for application systems, projects and applied technologies, also solving for technical problems and challenges that arise.

    Cyber Security Threat Analyst

    Job Purpose 
    The Cyber Security Threat Analyst identifies, analyses, investigates and mitigates cyber threats for Discovery Bank. This includes threats to staff, the business, systems information technology and networks. By performing highly specialized incoming incident investigations the Cyber Security Threat Analyst translates the findings into useful intelligence within the business to activate the appropriate response/remediation.  
     
    Key Outcomes may include but are not limited to: 

    • Understands the Discovery Bank environment, characterising pertinent aspects of the operational environment to ensure threat analysis is relevant to the environment.
    • Establishes and maintains logging and monitoring capability for Discovery Bank’s security profile and base lining normal activity. 
    • Monitors external data sources to maintain the currency of cyber threat condition and determine which security threats may have an impact on the enterprise. 
    • Identifies vulnerabilities, evaluating current security posture and makes recommendations to initiate and expedite remediation.

    Instructional Designer - Bank

    Key Purpose

    The vacancy is for an Instructional Designer within the Discovery Institute of Training. The role requires the Instructional Designer to design and develop learning curriculums and associated learning material for Discovery Bank  according to high quality standards. The learning content will be used to conduct training various business units across Discovery Bank.

    Key Outputs

    • All work must be done accurately, comprehensively and in-line with set quality standards.

    Service Consultant - Travel Insurance (DTI)

    Key Purpose

    The DTI call centre consultant will be responsible for fielding and returning travel insurance calls within the mandated SLA. The candidate will be required to assist with general travel insurance queries/inquiries, aid clients in completing offline sales, troubleshoot problems, provide information, handle complaints and redirect calls appropriately.

    • Complaints resolution pertaining to the travel insurance product and complaints escalation when required.

    Client Relationship Manager-Fixed Term Contract

    Key Purpose:

    To accurately review and assess In Hospital related queries and updates, in line with Discovery Health products and in accordance with benefit entry criteria and established protocols.

    Key outputs:
