When Leads are allocated, agents will be required to call the customer base, identify leads and close sales. Reporting back to sales management on sales made. Ability to explain and sell the product to the Customer. Ability to take the order on-site and submit for processing. Understanding of Telecommunications Technologies e.g Mobile/Fibre.     Specialist: Global Capacity Ops & Connect

    Core Description    
    Responsible to provide specialised support to manage, evaluate and execute purchases and leases of international submarine cable capacity and connectivity. This includes driving the planning, recording and managing existing and ongoing utilization and revenue generating potential of International Submarine Cable facilities and connectivity.     Job Responsibilities    
    The incumbent will be required to: 

    Perform the Submarine Cable Network Administrator function

    • Commercial records, C&MA contract interpretation and contract policing
    • Establish necessary systems, processes, rules to perform the NA function
    • Ensure evaluation and enhancement of all NA processes and best practices.
    • Support submarine cable WG's on transmission technology, routing, assignment, interface and
    • Design, establish & perform consortium upgrade calculators
    • Establish and manage all aspects of the consortium transmission plans of the submarine cable networks
    • Provide updated conceptual restoration plan annually for consortium approval.
    • Provide optimisation of restoration trails to reduce costs to all operators

    • Responsible to assist the Global Capacity Manager in executing the overall long-term operational strategy

    Manager: Gyro Master Data Management

    Data owner and accountable for Data Governance within Gyro.     Job Responsibilities    

    • Data Owner for Gyro ensuring Data Champions and Data Governance Structures are in place for Gyro.
    • Develop and manage the Data Governance Plan of Gyro ensuring Data Strategy is defined, data governance roadmap exist and being executed within Gyro.
    • Accountable to nominate Data Stewards within functional areas within Gyro, ensure CRES Data Reports/ Categories are assigned to Data Stewards and ensure Data Steward functions are understood and executed.

    Specialist: Fin Management Reporting

    Core Description    
    Assist with the monthly financial management function of the Gyro Entities, which includes value adding monthly reporting on results as well as maintaining the BU trial balance, both Balance Sheet accounts and all Expense accounts. Build relationships with key suppliers accounting personnel to ensure smooth operations for accounts department. Provide timely financial information to inform and influence operational decisions. Responsible to assist business Executive Management Team as a Finance Business Partner, in particular focussing on the application of sound financial decision making and reporting, with the aim of accounting for all business activities, safeguarding all assets and improving return on investment and profitability in the Business Unit.     Job Responsibilities    

    • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts, HFM Packs and accompanying schedules
    • Preparation of information for Flash reporting, statutory reporting, mid and year end results and EXCO/ OPSCO information requests,
