    Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) - Head Office

    Description

    • We are looking for an experienced, professional and future-fit HRBP to join our Human Resources team at our Cape Union Mart Head Office.
    • This role will support the HR strategy by aligning it to the business strategy within their areas of responsibility and driving it with their stakeholders.  Furthermore, this role will support stakeholders to proactively develop and execute the People Goals that supports the growth, performance and future objectives of the business.

    Requirements
    Qualifications and Experience Required

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management / Industrial Psychology is required
    • Minimum of 4-5 years proven experience in a HR Business Partner / Generalist role is vital (preference will be given to candidates with HR experience within a Retail Head Office environment)
    • Experience and sound understanding of best practices in the following categories is essential for this role:

    Senior BI Developer - Finance - Head Office

    Description

    • The successful incumbent will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data warehouse architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams. You will support our cross functional teams with data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery throughout ongoing projects and operational requirements. They must be comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of optimising or even re-designing our company’s data architecture to support our next generation of products and data initiatives.

    Responsibilities                                                                                     

    • Create and maintain optimal data warehouse architecture.
    • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements.
    • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
    • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Oracle technologies.

    Requirements

    • Advanced working SQL and Oracle knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases (SQL, RDS etc.).
    • Experience with data visualisation tools e.g. Power BI, QlikView, QlikSense.
    • Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
    • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
    • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
    • A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
    • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

    Digital Brand Lead

    Description

    • Our Marketing department requires a dedicated and passionate Digital Brand Lead to take ownership of Cape Union Mart & K-Way brands, guiding and supporting a small digital content team to deliver a rich customer experience which is aligned to business objectives and industry best practice. This role also includes relationship management across numerous teams, as well as driving improvements to business processes.
    • The role will require the incumbent to oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of all digital content on a day-to-day basis, working across teams to drive sales, build a loyal online community and execute campaigns, promotions & launches in line with the merchandise & marketing strategies. A key focus area will be to monitor ongoing performance across social media, mailers and performance media using data & web analytics to identify areas for improvement and sharing feedback and insights on a regular basis.     •  Flag any system issues or other problems that may delay the execution of a campaign go-live date with external teams.

    •  Perform regular QA of all website content to ensure it is brand aligned & that we consistently drive improvements in online user journey.
