    Pricing Controller

    Job Description    
    The purpose of the CCBSA Pricing Controller is to capture and maintain pricing master data and programmes as per company guidelines and strategies as well as reporting on the same.

    • This requires a passionate, proactive, efficient and conscientious individual with strong administrative, logical and communication skills (written and spoken), who is a team player providing excellent attention to detail and who enjoys working within a fast-paced environment.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Key Outputs and Accountabilities

    1. Capturing and Maintenance of National Account, Wholesale Channel, and Local Trade Promotions as well as enabling Trade and Execution Surveys

    •  Daily management of new promotions and promotion changes from Sales Managers such as National Account Managers, Wholesale Managers and Channel Managers.
    •  Capturing of all approved promotions into SAP.
    •  Balancing of all promotions by ensuring SAP net invoice prices are matched to the relevant promotions.
    •  Assisting Sales Managers in making sure the correct groups of customers are linked to the appropriate promotions, and that the correct information is captured for promotion reporting.

    2. Capturing and Maintenance of Pricing Master Data in Customer Master Records in SAP.

    •  Outlet Trading Term Discount Coding – SAP customer master data fields coded according to company standards, trading terms and rules, and filed for auditing purposes.
    •  Correct coding of new National Account, Local Key Account, Wholesale and Local Trade outlets per trading terms.
    •  Linking Outlets to Promotion Programmes: Maintenance of SAP customer master data fields per Sales Manager and Sales Force requirements.
    •  Removal of Outlets Linked to Trading Term Discounts or Promotion Programmes: due to reported non-compliance or where the outlets no longer qualify for discounts or inclusion in promotion programmes.
    •  Approval and coding of changes to outlet subtrade channels.


    3. Use Defined Applications to Provide Reporting and Pricing Data Loading Files to the Sales Force

    •  Pricing and Discount Programme Reporting: Use relevant applications to generate routine, standardised information for use by the Sales Force.
    •  Pricing Data Loading Files: Use relevant applications to facilitate the appropriate loading of trading term discounts according to subtrade channels
    •  Applications Knowledge: SAP, Margin Minder, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word

    4. Resolving Pricing Programme and Invoice-Related Queries

    •  Investigation and resolution of queries from the Sales Force and/or Sales Force Support.


    5. Act as Process Gatekeepers to Enable Correct Pricing Outcomes

    •  CCBSA Pricing Administrators are expected to act as pricing process gatekeepers for the Sales Force as well as the company so that strategic and lawful pricing outcomes are achieved consistently.
    •  Resolving and handling of conflict is essential to foster good teamwork between departments.

    Job Description    

    • To supports business plan and medium and long term strategy by successfully launching approved New Product Development projects, discontinuations and commercialisations of projects. It is accountable for the delivery of multi-disciplinary, market-facing projects from concept, to commercialisation, to market launch.     • To operate the switchboard, attend to front desk visitors and provide administration support.
