    Stock & Inventory Co-ordinator - Grains Industry

    Minimum qualifications and experience

    Ideal candidate should have a tertiary qualification in Finance and/or Accountancy and a minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience in a related field.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Compile daily stock sheet with 3Rd party stock confirmation
    • Daily recon Repo and Silo certificate stock with ERP system
    • Daily update of day storage provision file to product control
    • Comparing 3rd party stock balances with inhouse ERP system data
    • Process of claim invoices to 3rd party as requested by team members
    • Repo – Finance and Repurchase of stock to and from banks
    • Process of stock transfers from and to 3rd party clients
    • Process of daily JSE notices and deliveries
    • Capturing of silo certificates in ERP system
    • Recon and process of storage costs invoices from silo operators
    • Weekly and daily Sagis reports
    • Process of ADHOC invoices
    • Update SACTA levies for reporting
    • Capturing daily silo deliveries in ERP system
    • Ad hoc administration duties

    Essential skills

    • Demonstrated experience with stock and inventory management.
    • Strong financial and accountancy background.
    • Computer Literacy in MS Office Suite (specifically MS Excel – pivot tables, V-lookup, X-lookup, formulas). 

    Desirable skills

    • Exposure to commodities, agri and/or grains industries.
    • SAP experience.
    • Experience using an ERP system.

    Silo Bag Depot Manager - Heilbron

    Minimum qualifications and experience

    • Ideal candidate should have a matric qualification and demonstrated work experience of minimum 7-10 years in managing silo bag depot sites with emphasis on wheat, maize and soybean.

    Job Description Summary

    The Depot Manager’s role is very hands’ on.

    The main function is the co-ordinating and maintenance of the silo bag depot.  The role may be required to perform functions in addition to those associated with his/her own position.   

    Minimum qualifications and experience

    • Candidates with demonstrated silo bag management experience
    • Those who live nearby and/or in the community
    • Grading certified (Maize and Soyabeans)
    • Fumigation certified
    • Health & Safety certified

    Role & Responsibility

    • Management of appointed depot site
    • Staff management of COFCO appointed employees at site
    • Overall responsibility for Quantity and Quality of stock  
    • Responsible for stock management  
    • Preparation of soil and placement of bags 
    • Site and equipment maintenance daily
    • Responsible for petty cash
    • Responsible for maintaining PPECB records 
    • Daily site inspections  
    • Ensure that bags are measured & marked 
    • Ensure that rodent and weed control are in place  
    • Daily reporting to Head Office on all site operations  
    • Weekly depot report  
    • Monthly closure of contracts and stocktake  
    • Security, Health & Safety and Compliance management  
    • Administration, ad hoc  
    • General work  

    Essential Skills

    • MS Excel proficiency
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated experience in administrative tasks – reporting, etc.

    Human Resources Manager

    Minimum qualifications and experience

    • Grade 12
    • Human Resources Management Degree
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience at Human Resources Manager generalist level

    Main responsibilities (key performance indicators)

    The role of Human Resources Manager, based in Stellenbosch, plans, develops, and implements all HR related operational components within the area of responsibility.

    Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Organizational design, driving the right Culture, talent acquisition, onboarding, talent management, succession planning, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, handling of disciplinary and grievance matters, employee engagement and retention initiatives, manpower planning, remuneration and benefits, HR reporting and analytics, HR policies & procedures, legislative compliance, BBBEE, employment equity, as well as guiding line management on HR related matters.

    The HR Manager will work in close collaboration with the Payroll and Assets HR Managers.

    Essential skills

    • Proven HR Generalist Manager skills at required level
    • Project management skills
    • Change management methodology
    • Labour legislation BCEA, LRA, BBBEE, EEA and SDA
    • Intermediary level in MS Office (word, excel, PowerPoint)
