    Education Specialist

    Purpose of the Job

    • To manage and co-ordinate education programs in collaboration with service providers and internal stakeholders in order to measure effectiveness of curriculum or services and to contribute to educational and social development within the communities.

    What you'll be doing
    EDUCATION PROGRAMME STRATEGY

    • Ensure that the Education strategy is reviewed and adapted as and when required to ensure alignment with government education policy and Engen needs.
    • Provide guidance on big impact strategy and make proposals as and when required.

    EDUCATION PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT

    • Ensure that the operational plans of Engen's educational programmes are seamless and that the administration and reporting is carried out as per agreed plans.
    • Identify risks associated with carrying out agreed deliverables and make recommendations on how these can be resolved.
    • Manage all relevant programmes as per agreed plans and ensure feedback is provided to relevant parties
    • Execute all projects as per agreed plan and budget and ensure that the project data is maintained effectively and accurately.

    ALUMNI PROGRAMME STRATEGY

    • Consult and engage relevant stakeholders regarding education programme beneficiaries.
    • Develop Alumni strategy for all beneficiaries and engage in developing relevant community outreach plans.
    • Facilitate community outreach opportunities for Alumni and track, monitor and report on CSI initiatives.

    BUDGET MANAGEMENT

    • Determine project forecast for year ahead and ensure accurate budget indicators are available cost control management.
    • Track monthly OPEX spend and manage cost control processes.
    • Report on budget variances and ensure that expenditure is within budget.

    STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

    • Engage internal customers and stakeholders on service/ delivery needs and that related SLA's are in place and adhered to
    • Manage relations with external stakeholders and maximise opportunities for collaboration and sharing to deliver most value contractor and beneficiary interface
    • Engage and consult with cross-functional stakeholders for collaboration and to ensure that resources are leveraged in an efficient manner.
    • Provide internal support to the beneficiary and contractor and provide oversight and report back regarding beneficiary and contractor SLA's
    • Manage legal contracts for EMSS Programme and other Education programmes.

    CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT

    • Promote employee capability by managing team delivery based on performance plans, team effectiveness optimisation and facilitate knowledge and skills transfer.

    What You Will Be Doing

    COMMERCIAL STRATEGY:

    •   Develop and Drive the Commercial strategy & manage key strategic supplier relationships 
    •   Design and develop new customer acquisition strategies with Trade planning and Marketing by analysing and interpreting market and competitor strategies 

    STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: 

    •   Manage relations with internal customers, contractors/service providers and external stakeholders such as agencies and dealer councils 
    •   Develop & drive compliance to HSEQ policies/procedures related to Groceries and Non-Foods via the implementation throughout the company and the dealer network, via agreed policies, procedures, and practices 
    •   Develop and contract the Heads of Agreement with all Groceries and Non-Foods Manufacturers, Suppliers to ensure the protection of the companies legal and reputational risk.
    •   Develop Standard Operating Practices, policy and procedure for all Groceries and Non-Foods categories in line with Food compliance protocols 

    PRODUCT PROCUREMENT AND SOURCING: 

    •   Develop and Drive an in -house solution for Groceries and Non-Foods Pre-packaged foods by developing Engen Private Label 
    •   Optimize the distribution network and manage the distribution partners and relationships by ensuring all Risk, Governance and Compliance protocols are in place through the implementation of Heads of Agreements.
    •   Drive the development of Engen owned Food standard operating practices to ensure the achievement of the prescribed standards of Food production

     MERCHANDISE PLANNING AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND SUPPLY CHAIN:

    TRADE PLANNING:
