    General Ledger Accountant

    What you will do in this role:

    • Prepare GL entries related to Prepaid, Fixed Asset, and Cash for multiple entities
    • Manage monthly bank statements
    • Prepare Ramp card expenses and check for proper coding for NetSuite import
    • Manage fixed assets activities, including addition, disposals, depreciation, impairment and movement of fixed assets
    • Manage expense report related inquiries
    • Perform month end close functions:
    • Prepare amortization and depreciation journal entries in NetSuite
    • Prepare various allocation entries and assist in setting up allocations schedules
    • Prepare expense accrual entries related
    • Prepare entries for unrecorded expenses
    • Prepare BS reconciliations including prepaid, fixed asset, corporate credit card accrual and clearing, inventory received but not invoiced
    • Assist in updating information of inventory adjustments
    • Assist in MoM flux analysis for assigned accounts
    • Assist with financial audits and tax provision
    • Assist with quarter and annual inventory count
    • Document procedures of assigned tasks for audit and training purposes
    • Evaluate existing processes and make recommendations for improvement to enhance efficiency and ensure sufficient internal controls.
    • Special projects as required and assist with other duties as assigned, including but not limited to:
    • Process and procedure documentation
    • Account clean-ups

    What are we looking for:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant domain.
    • 1-3 years of accounting work experience.

    Senior Backend Engineer

    RetailNext is seeking a Backend Engineer for the Smartops team to help us build our cloud analytics distributed system. We integrate with 3rd party systems such as NetSuite and SalesForce as well as the main RetailNext product to facilitate the processes around delivering RetailNext as a product to our customers.

    We are looking for Engineer preferably with experience in distributed systems or data processing at scale. We write our backend code in Go. Our Cloud services reside at Google Cloud Platform and operate with Google Cloud Spanner, Cassandra, Elastic, and Google Cloud Storage as data storages; Kafka and PubSub as message queues.

    At RetailNext we use Continuous Deployment (paired with Terraform/Puppet for infrastructure operations) - our code ends up at Production environment very soon after you’re done writing it.

    Who you are:

    • Strong in at least one of Go, Ruby, Javascript, C/C++ or Python;
    • Several years of backend or backend-like development experience;
    • Spoken English;
    • SQL and advanced experience with any relational DB.

    Bonus points for:

    • Production experience with Cassandra, Elastic, Kafka, Terraform, Puppet, etc.;
    • Experience with a project that used continuous deployment or (specifically) Kanban;
    • Work experience in DevOps or infrastructure automation.

    What you will be doing: 

    • Resolution of the most complicated customer issues escalated by Helpdesk and L1 support teams

    Accounts Receivable Accountant

    About the Role:

    An Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for the overall financial management of RetailNext’s customer accounts from Invoicing to collections. This position will be the primary financial contact with their assigned customers regarding all Accounts Receivable matters and transactions. 

    What you will do:

    • Assume financial responsibility for customers contractual obligation to RetailNext
    • Ensure the timely and accurate invoicing of all customer goods and services received
    • Provide timely follow up to ensure customer payments are received in a timely fashion
    • Perform account reconciliations where necessary to resolve customer disputes
    • Interface with the Sales and Operations teams on all customer related issues
    • Interface with the San Jose AR Team as necessary
    • Prepare and provide customer statements as necessary
    • Prepare credit memos for approval and post as necessary
    • Prepare recommendations for bad debt write-offs to San Jose AR Team
    • Provide support to cash application process as necessary
    • Update and maintain all customer records and information related to AR Management
    • Ensure the assigned customers AR Ageing is maintained to acceptable levels
    • Provide management reports as requested
    • Attend customer meetings as requested
    • Assist with Information Technology enhancements as necessary
    • Attend Global AR Meetings as necessary

    Role Requirements:

    • Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel/Word)
    • Proficient in SalesForce and NetSuite Software
    • Understanding how invoicing works and assisting in properly resolving invoicing issues
    • Ability to effectively communicate with customers to address invoicing inquiries
    • Ability to work and address customer inquiries in timely manner 
    • Able to ensure customer information is consistently up to date and make edits when needed
    • Ability to work closely with the Sales team through potential customer issues such as past due invoices, missing information for SOs, etc.

    Channel Manager

    About the Role:

    RetailNext’s Global Channel Manager’s role is to own and drive revenue for our ever-expanding partner program. In this impactful leadership role, you will help to set and drive strategy to grow our Partner Network by identifying, closing, onboarding and managing strategic relationships.

    What you will do in this role:

    • Create and execute a strategic plan to help our channel partners be successful in creating sales opportunities and closing business for RetailNext
    • Build and maintain strong professional sales relationships with RetailNext's current and future channel partners
    • Develop monthly and quarterly strategic initiatives that will result in increasing the channel partner monthly bookings achieving and surpassing channel partner revenue goals
    • Work with internal teams to build out programs which train our channel partners on RetailNext’s products and help them position them in their markets and with their clients
    • Own regularly scheduled training program for existing partners which are up to date with the latest RetailNext Sales and Technical trainings.
    • Identify, sell, research, qualify, and recruit Partnerships assisting Field Sales to surface opportunities
    • Develop processes and best practices within the Channel organization to operationalize the partner program and implement the program with Partners
    • Update, refine, and coordinate activities associated with Partner selection, development, and refinement maintaining updated and current information throughout
    • Participate in team meetings on a weekly and ongoing basis to guide and evolve Channel strategy
    • Create and analyze Salesforce reports identifying issues that may contribute to success or shortcomings and take any corrective action required
    • Keep current with our product release information including sales materials, product roadmap, features, applications, and competition and disseminate same through partner network as appropriate
    • Perform quarterly business metrics review – QBR and analysis of each Partner Partner’s performance
    • Participate in territory business reviews focused on demand creation, sales growth, and partner sales development
    • Collaborate with Marketing to develop monthly and quarterly strategic initiatives that increase Partner outreach and acquisition

    What are we looking for:

    • Previous experience having built, managed and implemented a Channel function in a SaaS or other Software entity
