    Job Description

    • Standard Bank uses both in-house and vendor solutions in the Corporate and Investment division. The purpose of the job is to perform the role of a Murex Production BSD Engineer for the Murex Production BSD team. Murex being a vendor system and one of the Bank’s strategic trading and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) platforms, with the Murex Production BSD team enabling and supporting Front to Back global Markets capacities and solutions across multiple instances and asset classes
    • The role entails technical delivery, support, and advisory to business stakeholder demand and Murex programme initiatives, with expected expertise across asset classes and end-to-end solution phases (scope, analyse, plan, design, dev, test, operate).
    • In addition to the hands-on delivery responsibilities, the role requires developing standards, best practice, and ensuring optimal technical performance of the Murex Production Platforms, as well as upskilling and coaching the team to improve overall expertise.
