• Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to understand fraud, how it relates to Agoda’s strategy and products, and how to prevent it.
• Build advanced predictive models to understand the impact of specific fraudulent behaviors, trends and patterns.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams of data and backend engineers, analysts, user researchers, product managers and designers who are passionate about Agoda’s success
• Build and analyze dashboards, reports and key datasets to empower operational and exploratory analysis of fraud.
• Understand how user fraud affects other consumers of our data, including insights and feature teams, and work across the data landscape to minimize impact and drive influence wherever possible.
• Communicate data-informed insights and recommendations to key stakeholders, engineering and product partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in science, computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline
• Previous experience working in fraud detection and prevention, with an understanding of the impact that has on other areas in the company where business and product decisions are made.
• Coding skills for analytics and data manipulation (SQL, R, Python, Pandas, Scala)
• Data visualizations such as Tableau or your weapon of choice.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms including classifiers, clustering algorithms, and anomaly detection a plus
• Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills in order to extract insights and recommendations
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

The Quality Assurance Engineer role at Agoda is an integral part of the development process. Successful candidates will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Lead and own quality strategy of assigned scrum team to ensure a right level of product quality
• Own quality practice of assigned scrum team
• Ensure right level of testing activities perform along with product design/implementation
• Define necessary test automation, design automation flow, share implementation effort with software engineer
• Monitor and ensure each change achieves its business KPI on production
• Drive the velocity of product development together with scrum team



 

Qualifications

• Graduated from IT related field
• Ability to code in any programming language
• Experience in Test automation or Selenium is a plus
• Good command of English (Speaking, Writing, and Reading)
• Experience in Agile Methodology is a plus
• Ability to identify and escalate issues in a timely manner
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and commit to the team's schedules and goals
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good analytical and problem solving skills

• Maintain ownership and responsibility of mission critical systems.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience managing engineering teams of 3 people and more, 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• B.S. in Computer Science or quantitative field; M.S. preferred
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• Extremely proficient in one or more mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Web)
• Extremely proficient in at least one programming language (Swift, Objective C, Kotlin, JavaScript, Java, Scala, C#)
• Extremely proficient in modern mobile and server coding and design practices. For example, VIPER, MVVM, MVP, SOLID principals, and TDD
• Strong experience in systems architecture – particularly in complex, scalable and fault tolerant distributed systems

• Design, develop & contribute to the enhancements of our automation frameworks and infrastructure including --research of new technologies and tools.
• Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
• Integrate automated tests with continuous delivery pipeline to establish continuous test cycle.

Requirements

• 5 years experience in Quality Assurance field and/or as a Software Developer.
• Strong experience working with testing frameworks and tools similar to Selenium, UFT, Junit, NUnit, Appium, postman, Rest Assured, etc.
• Proficients with one or more of the following languages : Java, C#, Scala, Python, Ruby, Objective C, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and best practices including build and source control automation tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity and Git.
• Experience with Agile Methodologies including QA best practices across SDLC is a plus.
• Experience within a DevOps culture and tools is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a part of both large or small teams in a fast paced environment.
• Good writing and communication skills in English ; Must be able to clearly describe and discuss problems.
