    Sales Support Assistant

    This is an administrative support position that reports directly to an Operations Manager in the region. The SSA role is there to render sales support and administration to Sanlam intermediaries and regional sales management.

    • Provide sales and administration support to intermediaries, including quotations
    • Assist the intermediaries with the relevant product information
    • Process and monitor new business submitted
    • Monitor and report on relevant sales information to intermediaries/management
    • Support initiatives to increase the take up of technology with intermediaries
    • Providing limited after sales service

    What will make you successful in this role?

    Qualifications

    And Experience

    • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
    • A relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous

    Knowledge And Skills

    • A minimum of 2 years relevant administrative experience within the financial services industry is preferred
    • Prior experience within a Broker or Advisor Services environment is preferred
    • Insurance product experience and knowledge of relevant quotation processes and systems is preferred

    Helpdesk Support Administrator

    Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanlam Life Limited) is one of the top financial services providers in the South African entry-level and emerging middle market. It aims to understand the unique requirements of clients and offers a wide range of simple and affordable financial solutions that cover needs such as funeral insurance, savings for education, life cover and personal accident plans. In terms of the Sanlam Group Governance Policy, SDM is managed by the SA Retail Mass cluster, which is part of the Sanlam Life and Savings cluster within the Sanlam Group. There are four businesses within the SA Retail Mass cluster, namely; Group Benefits, Individual Life, Safrican Insurance and African Rainbow Life.

    What will you do?

    • Provides helpdesk support service.
    • Investigates hardware and software issues telephonically.
    • Analysing and solving problems.
    • Ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Log calls received with the IT helpdesk.
    • Escalate old and unsolved calls within the department.
    • Ensure that call category is appropriate to the call description.
    • Provide quality support on incidents and escalations.
    • Basic troubleshooting abilities.
    • Analysing and interpreting the requests from customer and calls.
    • Ensure the quick resolution of faults for the user and/or keep client updated on the progress in relation to the resolution of the fault.
    • Addressing issues logged by Clients.
    • Tracking and updating logged requests.
    • Service Desk / Server / Desktop Support.
    • Troubleshoot Hardware and Software issues around technologies.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Matric/ Grade 12
    • 1 Year or more experience in technical support environment
    • Technical troubleshooting experience
    • 1 year to 3 years’ Service Desk or Call Centre Experience preferably at an ISP or software support environment
    • Knowledge and experience of insurance and intermediary business.
    • Sound knowledge of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) would be a distinct advantage

    Digital Analyst: Group Brand


    Sanlam is looking for a strong commercially minded Digital Marketing Analyst to plan, implement and manage the gathering, preparation, analysis and reporting of data that informs data driven digital marketing decisions in line with objectives.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing monitoring and analysing of digital marketing campaigns and practices in an effort to improve campaign performance and marketing ROI. You will work closely with Group Marketing, with input from CX, BI, web, creative and media resources, to recommend best practice and optimisations around audience selection and targeting, channel mix, customer journey tracking and testing...

    Ultimately, you will help us ensure we spend our marketing budget efficiently and we target our audience effectively through successful digital marketing campaigns.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Develop performance measurement and reporting framework for digital marketing campaigns and practices
    • Ensure that the appropriate tagging conventions as well as custom views, dimensions and goal tracking are implemented to support the measurement framework, across platforms
    • Extract and prepare data
    • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using analytical techniques
    • Develop recommendations based on the data for changes to marketing tactics and strategies to improve performance
    • Produce insightful visualisations (reports and/or dashboards) that enable actionable recommendations and outputs
    • Liaise with key Sanlam stakeholders in the analytics and marketing landscape (incl. agencies) and deal with enquiries

    • Collaborate with the BI and CX teams (e.g. customer stream or advanced analytics) to generate insight using advanced analytical techniques
    • Identify commercial opportunities and recommend innovative solutions
    • Build models and run simulations to inform and optimise marketing spend for ongoing and upcoming campaigns
    • Conduct competitive research and analyse benchmarking data
    • Championing an environment of learning and growth in the field of digital analytics

    Qualification And Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, data analysis and/or related fields (stats, maths, computer science)
    • Google Academy qualifications:
      • Google AdWords Fundamentals Certified
      • Google Search Advertising Certified
      • Google Display Advertising Certified
      • Google Analytics Certified
      • Google Video Advertising Certified
      • Google Mobile Advertising Certified
    • 3-5 years experience in the field of digital marketing analytics Expert: Google Marketing Platform, Analytics 360, Tag manager 360, Campaign Manager, Display and video 360, Search ads 360, Optimise, Data Studio, Big Query
    • Expert: Microsoft Excel
    • Strong knowledge of and experience with:
      • reporting packages
      • databases
      • querying (e.g. Business Objects, Tableau, Datorama, SAP, SQL)
    • Understanding of integrated messaging platforms (e.g. Marketo, Everlytic), marketing automation system (D365) and content management system
    • Strong analytical mind and an ability to extract, prepare, analyse and visualise data to drive business and marketing decisions
