    Specialist: Ftth Marketing

    To assist in delivering and executing on Vodacom FTTH strategy, including brand & communications strategy, segment strategy, tactical and long term market execution, go-to-market and channel marketing and budget management.
    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Proactively driving marketing and communication campaigns and ongoing optimisation, synergy and seeking opportunity for brand growth
    • Assist in driving regional marketing alignment on Brand Cross functional teamwork
    • Involvement in Brand Integrated Communication Plans
    • Ongoing segment marketing engagement to develop GTM strategies & approaches
    • Updated reporting and input into SLT forums & presentations
    • Manage Publicity budget

    Key performance indicators:

    • Marketing experience within the telecommunications (FTTH) industry (advantageous)
    • Detail orientated
    • Initiative and follow through
    • Communication Skills – verbal and written

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Matric (Essential)
    • 3 year Marketing or relevant Degree/Diploma or SAQA Accredited Equivalent (essential)
    • 3-5 years Marketing experience within the telecommunications (FTTH) industry (advantageous)

    OR (if Matric only)

    • Min 5 years’ experience with at least 3 years marketing experience within the telecommunications (FTTH) industry (advantageous)

    Specialist Business Analyst

    To perform business analysis by assessing the business concept and objective in terms of feasibility, impact and cost. To ensure that user requirements for the business units are documented, developed and delivered and get involved in designing optimal solutions including process optimization that meets the objectives of the business portfolio.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Supports the business unit owner in the formulation of an initiative by determining problems and identifying business needs to ensure that the business needs are aligned to the business strategic and tactical goals.
    • To document and manage changes to requirements throughout the project life cycle by capturing requirement attributes and building a traceability matrix
    • Identify the risks related to changes in requirements, determine the impact those risks may have on the ability to deliver benefits, and recommends actions to mitigate risks where possible
    • To ensure effective communication and liaison with all stakeholders
    • To ensure that deliverables developed meet the business requirements and quality standards.

    Senior Account Manager

    The Senior Account Manager will secure new business from their allocated customer list, derived from the strategic set of customers. The Senior Account Manager will need to successfully manage their current base whilst selling additional products and services into these customers. The Senior Account Manager will be required to minimise churn and maximise revenues with revenue growth being a key performance indicator. The objective is to increase the business from a target list of customers. The Senior Account Manager will also retain and record any and all customer and market intelligence to increase future win opportunity regardless if tenders are successful or unsuccessful

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Responsible for managing strategic accounts and delivering profitable, long term business from those accounts
    • Ensures delivery of annual revenue targets through delivery of full product mix
    • Establishes appropriate relationships with customers in Vodacom and leverages those relationships to ensure maximum financial return from Vodacom customers
    • Works collaboratively to set up service relationship for nominated accounts
    • Provide input to help with decisions about new propositions, product mix and services for customers Core competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]:
    • Experience in solution sales and relationship management with a track record of solution selling
    • A broad understanding of the ICT Landscape and Strategic ICT enablers.
    • A thorough understanding of converged and networking technologies and services.
    • Demonstrated understanding of important financial concepts, the IT&T environments, purchasing practices and industry specific aspects of corporate customers.
    • Understanding of the Value Chain Analysis with regards to various customer businesses

    Key performance indicators:

    • Understand customer preferences, pricing, product, terms and conditions to ensure that their requirements are met; gather and analyse data regarding competitor pricing and products and ensure that Vodacom/Vodafone products and services fit customer requirements
    • Manage deals through commercial governance, demonstrating win strategy, and future revenue growth plan and account development opportunities
    • Effectively manage numerous internal and external deadlines in order to respond to large RFPs for single and multi-country deals

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Matric with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Account Management
    • A 3 year commercial (B. Com/Business Science, IT) Degree or Equivalent qualification will be an advantage. OR
    • A 3 year commercial (B. Com/Business Science, IT) Degree or Equivalent qualification with 5 years’ experience in Account Management.
