    Registered Nurse Medical - Vosloorus

    The Registered Nurse will promote and deliver quality patient care and wellness in accordance with industry standards and to execute Nursing duties within the standards, procedures and protocols set down by the South African Nursing Council and Scope of Practice. The incumbent will collaborate with Doctors, multi-disciplinary team members and the community in providing holistic support to patients and their family and loved ones whilst supervising allocated team members, within a specialized unit.

    Minimum Qualifications and experience:

    • Diploma in General Nursing.
    • At least 2 years’ experience in a Medical Ward is essential.
    • BLS qualification
    • Updated ACLS/PALS/ATLS advantageous.
    • Post-registration experience preferred.
    • Computer proficiency.

     Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Perform nursing duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core standards.
    • Adhere to the principles and standards of patient advocacy according to the SANC Acts and Omissions, Company Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, National Millennium Development goals and the responsibility of continuous professional development (CPD).
    • Supervise, organise, lead and control quality of care work for self and team adhering to therapeutic standards and goals.
    • Actively participate in internal and external auditing processes, for example DOH, National Core Standards, SHERQ, SANC and Risk Audits.
    • Document and maintain accurate files and records of patient medication and conduct ward rounds including accompanying Doctors and other Medical Practitioners for creating and evaluating customized care plans including implementing.
    • Monitor activities of nurses to ensure compliance with protocols, security, safety of patient environment, Group Nursing policies and procedures, SANC requirements on findings through regular unit rounds.

    Occupationall Health Nurse - Richards Bay

    Job Summary: 

    • The Occupational Health Nurse is responsible to promote and deliver quality patient care and wellness in accordance with the industry standards and to execute Nursing duties within the standards, and protocols as set by the South African Nursing Council and Scope of Practise.

     Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • BCur Nursing degree/diploma in General Nursing.
    • BTech Certificate in Occupational Health Nursing.
    • Dispensing License.
    • Current South African Nursing Council (SANC) registration mandatory.
    • Expert knowledge of the, Mine Health and Safety Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act), Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and ISO/IEC 17020-201.
    • Certificate in audiometry, spirometry, and vision screening.

    • Monitor and control chronic conditions impacting the client organisation’s employees’ ability to perform their tasks.
    • Identify trends related to specific hazard exposures and ensure preventative measures are in place.
    • Provide expert input into incident investigations.
    • Conduct pre-employment medical examinations in accordance to medical examination protocols.
    • Provide baseline health status determining fitness for duty.
    • Report and assist on all injuries on duty and occupational diseases related to occupational exposure.

    Financial Accountant - Vosloorus

    Job Summary:

    To coordinate, plan and manage the accounting and financial activities of an organisation. The incumbent collaborates with operations and finance in analysing the commercial stability of the hospital facility.

     Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Relevant three-year Diploma or Degree: Financial Accounting.
    • 3+ years’ relevant work experience.
    • Proven financial accounting experience.
    • Business related degree advantageous.

     Minimum Job Requirements:

    To provide end-to-end financial accountant management for the facility.

    • Monitor, review and provide feedback to the Financial Manager as it relates to the Group’s accounting practices, protocols and policies.
    • Drives the Finance Department’s adherence to established policies, SOPs and guidelines.
    • Prepares asset, liability and capital account journal entries by compiling and analysing account information.
    • Maintain the hospital’s fixed asset register and supervise the performance of physical asset verifications then compile reconciliation.
    • Analyse and interpret management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
    • Compile and submit departmental cost centre reports and liaise with MANCO on budget and expenditure monitoring.
    • Perform General Ledger reconciliations.
    • Analyse and report on budget variances
    • Ensure the accurate maintenance of general ledger accounts and prepare accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Assists the assigned Financial Manager in the preparation of Annual audits by providing accurate information and other information for audits as required.
    • Assumes the accountability of the bridging point of contact from Hospital Finance and Head Office Finance
    • Support the Hospital Manager by assessing financial impact or proposed services, improvements (or related financial costs to the facility) and monitor financial cost / benefit of services.
    • Review of GRIR accounts and ensure invoice capturing is always up to date.
    • Review the unbilled report and ensure that revenue is accruing as it should.
    • Hospital petty management.

    Enrolled Nurse Emergency Unit - Mafikeng

    Job Summary:

    The Enrolled Nurse will promote and deliver quality patient care and wellness in accordance with industry standards and execute Nursing duties within standards, procedures and protocols set down by the South African Nursing Council and scope of Practice.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Grade 12.
    • Enrolled Nursing qualification.
    • Current registration with South African Nursing Council.
    • BLS qualification advantageous.
    • Experience in critical care unit.
    • Experience within private hospital environment advantageous.
    • Computer proficiency advantageous.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Perform nursing duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core standards.
    • Adhere to the principles and standards of patient advocacy according to the SANC Acts and Omissions, Company Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, National Millennium Development goals and the responsibility of continuous professional development (CPD). Plan, organize, assess, and prioritize work in line with legislation to ensure efficient completion of tasks under the supervision of a registered Nurse.

    Case Manager - Mafikeng

    Job Summary:

    To deliver an effective case management process and facilitate the communication process between all role-players by providing accurate and timeous clinical information in order to minimize the financial risk for the company.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Grade 12.
    • Registered Nurse, currently registered with SANC.
    • Certificate in Coding (advantageous).
    • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a private hospital or medical scheme environment in a Case management capacity.
    • Working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.
    • Computer proficiency – SAP System or similar.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Ensure authorizations on admissions (daily) is accurate as per SAP system.
    • Conduct daily case management rounds in allocated units to obtain updated clinical information from patient files. Comply with case management procedures, Medical Scheme contracts and legal aspects by utilizing available resources and systems (specifically the Case Manager Workstation on SAP).
    • Communicate consistently and timeously with the Medical Schemes as contractually agreed through the relevant case management channels.
    • Obtain Doctors letters of motivation in support of all cases where Medical Schemes request these from the hospital as part of their assessing process.
    • Minimize financial risk by effectively managing patient stay.
    • Communicate daily statistics with Billings regarding number of files with case management and with Billings, to progress these files through the system as quickly as possible and to achieve the discharge to final bill target. Resolve queries related to short payments by Medical Scheme, in conjunction with the Collections Department
