    Nutritionist STD - Meadow Feeds

    The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

    • Feed formulations;
    • Manage the nutrition/technical department and on-site laboratory;
    • Product performance, quality and traceability including Salmonella program, sample management and Farm Feed Act;
    • Liaison with sales department, key customers, industry bodies and other stakeholders;
    • Ensure compliance with all quality procedures and all QA system

    The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

    • A minimum BSc Agriculture in animal nutrition (preferably Monogastric) and a Post-graduate experience in nutrition would be an advantage;
    • Have a minimum of 5 years work experience, preferably in a managerial capacity;
    • Have a working knowledge and understanding of the FORMAT formulation system;
    • Computer literate with MS Office experience, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
    • Assertive, self-motivated and quality driven;
    • Excellent analytical and numerical skills;
    • Personal and professional integrity;
    • Converse fluently in both English and Afrikaans;
    • A valid code 08 driver’s licence.

    Corporate Claims Consultant - JHB

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum: Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 equivalent
    • Preferred: Short Term Insurance Certificate (NQF5)
    • Advantageous: FAIS and RE accredited 

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 5 years Motor corporate experience
    • Experience in the short-term Insurance industry 
    • Have a good understanding of insurance principles

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Dealing with the notification of new claims if reported telephonically or otherwise
    • Identify customers’ needs through appropriate questioning and listening techniques
    • Illicit required information from customers
    • Identify and solve customers’ problems
    • Follow correct logging procedures
    • Retrieve data
    • Identify information required for inputting purposes, including raising of accurate claims estimates
    • Capture relevant information according to customers’ requirements and company specific standards and procedures
    • Identify inaccuracies and take corrective action
    •  Adhere to relevant claims processes and procedures
    • Referral of problem cases to appropriate manager for resolution
    • Immediately report any claim over the Digicall mandate to the appropriate insurer / broker or as prescribed in the client requirements

    Senior Breeder Farms and Hatchery Admin

    The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

    • Supporting of all Farms and Hatchery administration related functions together with the Farms Administration team.
    • Full Stock management responsibility on site.
    • Assist with weekly expense forecasts and budgets.
    • Preparation of weekly and monthly reports and graphs as required.
    • Review and capturing of Breeder farms and hatchery data on AFS.
    • Capturing of all Breeder farm and hatchery Purchase requisitions.
    • Handling of all Breeder farm and hatchery creditors queries. 
    • Any other general day to day functions as required.

    The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

    • A Matric Certificate/ Equivalent.
    • An accounting background would be advantageous.
    • 4-6 years Administration or Accounting experience.
    • Excellent administrative and time management skills.
    • Computer knowledge and experience is essential.
    • Essential that the successful Candidate is self-motivated & has the ability to meet strict deadlines.

    Maintenance planner - Agriculture

    Required Qualifications:

    • Have a technical qualification/diploma or be an artisan (T4/S4/N6) (Advantageous)
    • Have a financial qualification in accounting (Advantageous) 

    Required Experience:

    • Engineering experience
    • Poultry experience
    • Project and asset, resources management
    • 2 to 3 Years’ experience in asset and asset care management
    • Auditing experience advantageous
    • 2 to 3 Years’ experience in procurement/inventory control 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for all engineering projects.
    • Monitor progress, identify & resolve issues.
    • Generate safety, risk, and skill utilization reports.
    • Ensure all projects are completed on time and within allocated budgets.
    • Plan and procure equipment, parts, for scheduled/planned maintenance

    Artisan Builder x2

    Required Qualifications:

    • Matric or Grade 12
    • Building Trade Test – CIBD & NHBRC Registered
    • Drivers license – valid Code 10 with PDP

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years industrial experience.
    • Poultry experience advantageous.
    • Must be willing to work shifts, standby, weekends and overtime

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Ability to read drawings, build and maintain all ablutions, houses, offices, drainage, minor road repairs and roof repairs and installations.
    • Inspection of machinery and equipment as per supplier requirements set out in the maintenance manuals.
    • Planning of work according to maintenance plan and schedule and per breakdown

    General

    • Training and development of self and maintenance handyman under direct supervision.
    • Maintain Discipline, housekeeping and workmanship standards across all operations.
    • Maintain Daily time sheets
    • Order equipment and spares.
