    Debt Recovery Specialist

    Responsibilities:

    Debt Recovery & Collections:

    • Proactively contact debtors via phone, email, and written correspondence to recover outstanding debts.
    • Draft and issue legal documents (e.g., letters of demand, acknowledgments of debt).
    • Monitor and update debtor accounts, ensuring accurate records on M-Files or similar CRM systems.
    • Escalate unresolved cases to attorneys or senior advisors when necessary.

    Client & Stakeholder Management:

    • Liaise with clients, attorneys, tracing agents, and insurers to resolve disputes and negotiate payment plans.
    • Provide regular updates to clients and internal teams on debt recovery progress.
    • Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing queries and resolving issues professionally.

    Legal & Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to legal deadlines and insurance claim processes.
    • Assist with liquidation/business rescue cases by coordinating with legal teams.
    • Update Industry Stop listings and manage adverse listings as required.

    Reporting & Administration:

    • Generate monthly reports on recovery progress and outstanding debts.
    • Maintain meticulous records of all communications and actions in M-Files.
    • Validate payment schedules and reconcile debtor accounts.

    Requirements:

    • Qualifications: NQF diploma/degree in Finance, Law, or related field (advantageous).
    • Experience: 1–3 years in debt collection, credit control, or a legal environment.

    Skills:

    Strata Controller – Mining Industry – R550k – R450k

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct regular inspections of underground or surface operations to assess ground conditions, documenting observations and verifying ground support installations meet site standards.
    • Monitor strata behaviour using visual inspections and instrumentation to detect signs of deformation or failure, and recommend preventative actions

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, update, and maintain 3D geological and resource models using appropriate software
    • Conduct geological interpretations based on drillhole data, mapping, sampling, and geophysical results
    • Plan, coordinate, and supervise grade control drilling and sampling activities to ensure quality and representativeness
    • Ensure accurate and timely data capture, validation, and management of geological databases

    • Must be physically fit and able to work in a hot, dusty, and physically demanding environment.
