Education:
- Diploma in Accounting (NQF level 6) or similar
Work Experience
- Between 2 - 3 years of working experience in accounting
- Good knowledge of Pastel Partner and Microsoft Office

Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to assist in the following duties:
- All accounting entries and processing up to and including Trial Balance
- Preparation of annual budget
- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Module
- Monitoring Investments and bank statements
- GL reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- VAT preparation and reconciliation
- Maintaining pastel records
- Other general administrative ad-hoc duties

CORE FUNCTIONAcademic Content:
- Peer-to-peer quality assurance of academic content uploaded
- Oversee all content creation activities to maintain quality and consistency
- Work closely with Academic Programme Managers (APM) and Academics on academic content uploads, quality assurance and signoffs
Recorded Webinar Quality Assurance, Editing and Uploading:
- Complete quality assurance of recorded webinars
- Edit recorded webinars for quality purposes
- Upload recorded webinars
Academic Cluster Secretary:
- Coordinate respective Academic Cluster meetings
- Create a repository of meeting agendas and minutes on e-Common for record-keeping purposes
Module Coordination (MC):
- Work closely with Academic Programme Managers (APM) on module coordination
- Monitor and track changes in module coordinators for respective programmes
- Create a repository of module coordination letters on e-Common for record-keeping purposes
PROMAPS:
- Coordinate Academic PRO-MAPS submissions
- Request PROMAPS from Academics for respective programmes/modules
- Follow-up on outstanding PROMAPS from Academics
- Complete PROMAPS tracker
- Create a repository on e-Common for record-keeping purposes
Curriculum Structures and Programme Information Sheets (PIS):
- Verify and confirm that curriculum structures and programme information sheets (PIS) are correct and up-to-date for each intake
- Ensure that programme/module information reflects correctly on curriculum structures and programme information sheets (PIS) for respective programmes
- Ensure that programme/module information changes reflect correctly on curriculum structures and programme information sheets (PIS) for respective programmes
Programme Reviews and Module Reviews:
- Work closely with respective APM on the submission of annual programme reviews
- Request and gather vital narratives and supporting evidence from various stakeholders in line with programme criteria (and sub-criterions)/module requirements as advised by the respective APM
- Create a repository for programme review(s) for record-keeping purposes
Admissions and Selections:
- Receice and coordinate requests for Credit Application and Transfer (CAT) and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) applications
- Verify all supporting documents are in order
- Forward the request to the respective Module Coordinator and follow up to ensure completion
- Closing off all requests and documents via the Admissions and Selections tracker
Additional:
- Coordinate meetings as and when required
- Assist in special projects as assigned by respective APM as and when required
- Assist with the 'Ask the Academic' queries as and when required
Minimum Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSQualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree
- Postgraduate Qualification (Preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in Learner Management System administration/coordination
- Academic administrative background

- To demonstrate academic acumen and provide relevant administration functions in the evolving education spectrum

Physical Requirements of the Post
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
- Must be able to use arms/ hands/ fingers to handle, feel, and reach, and must be able to use a computer keyboard
- Must be able to speak and hear
- Must be able to see. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
