    Security Engineer - Parktown

    ROLE PURPOSE

     

    • Support, monitor, remediate and implement ICT Security

    MAIN OUTPUTS

    • Deliver efficient and effective support services in ICT security related services (Servers, Computers, Networks, Telephony, Cloud Services and Applications)
    • Develop, implement ICT security protocols in line with security best practice
    • Identify ICT security gaps, recommend solutions and enhancements to management
    • Help plan the security strategy
    • Incident response, threat hunting, remediation and incident tracking
    • Leading ICT security investigations and providing feedback to management
    • Ongoing system reviews, support and troubleshooting. Resolves system hardware/software, configuring, optimizing, fine-tuning, and monitoring ICT systems security (Firewalls, networks devices, applications, cloud services and end points)
    • Helps and works with ICT teams.
    • Analyze / review hardware and software changes, identifying potential security vulnerabilities and or deviations from best practice
    • Daily monitoring of ICT Systems and networks with special attention to the Bidvest Alice system
    • Securing I.T systems by establishing and enforcing ICT Security policies defining and monitoring
    • Help the ICT teams with firmware/patching of endpoints, networks, phones, servers and applications (Scheduling, planning and deployment)
    • Process improvement and automation
    • Report findings/remediation’s, provide weekly / monthly reporting to management
    • Help with user awareness education / training / campaigns
    • Manage suppliers of services and contract management within prescribed SLA’s
    • Provide telephonic, remote, and onsite ICT support (Local and wide areas)
    • Assisting ICT support requests ensuring timely closure within prescribed SLA’s
    • Help with ICT and infrastructure support when required (Namely 1st and 2nd line)
    • Ensuring company policies & procedures are adhered to
    • Liaise with 3rd party vendors to resolve incidents, problems, and queries. Managing SLAs
    • Ability to communicate technical information at all levels
    • Implementation management and maintenance of ICT security Systems (Networks, Endpoints, Systems, Cloud)
    • Point of contact for ICT Support Engineers requesting security incident escalation
    • Budget Management
    • Asset management – Asset / inventory checks, disposals and relevant replacements

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    The Applicant must meet the following requirements:

    • Formal Qualification in information Technology and/or relevant experience and successful track record
    • Matric (Senior Certificate)
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Minimum of 3 years Active Directory, Layer 2 and Layer 3 Networks, desktop support. Minimum of 2 years ICT security experience in securing, monitoring and supporting systems on premises and cloud. Advantage governance / security frameworks. Preferably within the service industry
    • Preferred: ICT Security, MS Infrastructure, Networking and Firewall certifications
    • MS Office

    Business Development Executive - Polokwane

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • To contribute in the process of refining and enhancing, on an ongoing basis, the current and future sales and marketing strategy.

    MAIN OUTPUTS

    Sales:

    • Actively search, pursue and engage potential clients
    • Knowledge of existing contracts and weekly meetings with Regions General Manager & Operations Manager
    • Manage the compilation, and where necessary draft, high quality proposals, bids and tender responses
    • Follow-up and survey leads generated through various channels and cold calling
    • Ensure tenders and bids are responded to in a professional, timely and compliant manner.
    • Engage and manage strategic suppliers who are providing solution and commercial content for proposals, bids and tender responses
    • Identify weaknesses in sales process and address
    • Follow-up on cancelled contracts
    • Implement and manage strategic initiatives to ensure that annual growth targets are met and ideally exceeded to increase the company’s market share
    • Achieve Monthly Sales Budgets by implementing and maintaining a marketing and sales strategy.

    Marketing:

    • Identifying new growth opportunities by market segments
    • Using the full marketing mix for the company’s marketing communications
    • Promote sister companies – Steiner Hygiene, TopTurf, etc.

    Knowledge Transfer:

    • Train the team on Fundamental understanding of ISO22000/FSSC22000, R638 and our responsibilities as a cleaning and hygiene service provider
    • Assists the team understands and drafts assistance in terms of PRP’s (pre-requisite programs in food hygiene)
    • Ensures the business obtains the ISO22000 accreditation
    • Assists the team with understanding and draft assistance with M.C.S’s (Master Cleaning Schedules) and S.O.P’s (Safe Operating Procedures)
    • Ensures knowledge transfer with BDEs and the General Manager Sales when surveying food hygiene sites in terms of identifying critical areas for cleaning (Dairy’s, Abattoirs, Manufacturing, Processing, Bakeries, Fisheries, Poultry etc. but not limited to these sectors

    Reporting:

    • Provide a comprehensive sales and marketing report on a weekly and monthly basis

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    The Applicant must meet the following requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in Sales/Business Development/Marketing
    • Matric (Senior Certificate)
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Min 3 Years’ Solid Experience In Business Development & Best Practices within the Sales Environment
