    Communications Specialist (Marketing)

    What are some of the responsibilities of this role?

    Communication Planning

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, targets, audience, and acquisition goals.
    • Responsible for creating and executing end CRM strategies to engage and convert international masters students

    Content Creation

    • Produce compelling and engaging content for email, website, in-app, push notification, social media and SMS.
    • Secondarily, assist with website copywriting and social media copywriting
    • Craft messaging that highlights the unique value proposition of Prodigy’s funding solution for the international masters' student market
    • Create persuasive subject lines and engaging email body copy to drive open rates, click-through rates and other required domain metrics

    Segmentation and Personalisation

    • Utilise and understand data and segmentation with the help of the domain leads and data teams to tailor content to specific interests, needs and preferences of different customer segments.
    • UseImplement dynamic content and personalisation strings to enhance the relevance of each email

    Automation and Workflows

    • Set up and manage email automation workflows, welcome sequences, drip campaigns and lead nurturing sequences.
    • Ensure timely delivery of the right content to the right audience at different stages of the acquisition journey.

    A/B testing

    • Conduct A/B testing on email content (subject lines, email copy, visuals, layout, call to action) and mechanisms (delivery dates, ranges, and settings) to optimise performance subject lines, email copy, visuals, layout, call to action to optimise email performance.
    • Analyse test results and use insights to refine email strategies and improve conversion rates, and work with the data team to understand and improve campaign outcomes

    Lead Nurturing

    • Develop lead nurturing strategies to guide potential students through decision-making process, addressing their concerns and needs.
    • Create content assets with the content lead, such as customer testimonials and case studies, to provide value and build trust.

    Data Analysis and Reporting

    • Monitor email campaign metrics i.e. open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, unsubscribes, and through the funnel to registration, application starts to submit.
    • Create a weekly and monthly report to share in functional meetings, domain meetings and performance meetings.

    Compliance and Best Practice

    • Ensure email campaigns comply with relevant data protection laws and privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and are signed off by the Legal team
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends on email best practices and industry news and implement innovative strategies.

    Collaboration

    • Coordinate with design, content and acquisition teams to ensure consistent brand and messaging across all communications.
    • Work closely with the data, tech and analytics teams to integrate email campaigns with customer data and track user interactions.

    Qualifications and experience

    • Degree in communication, journalism, media or marketing
    • Excellent command of the English language
    • 2-3 years’ communications/marketing experience gained within a highly reputable technology or financial services company
    • Experience working with communications and customer data with any customer engagement platforms is a must. Working on Braze would be an advantage which is Prodigy’s customer engagement platform.
    • Experience with programmatic marketing methodologies and tools
    • Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management and relationship building
    • Proven track record of partnering with cross-functional teams and leading successful product launches 
    • Experience working with Tech, Product and Business Development teams to understand market requirements and support business initiatives
    • Understanding of user journeys, customer journeys and customer experience, particularly within the context of financial services or technology.

    Content and Communication Manager

    What are some of the responsibilities of this role?

    Strategic Communication

    • Develop and refine the overall content and communications strategy aligned with company goals and target audience to enhance the visibility and reputation of Prodigy.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.  Understand domain objectives and priorities to develop communications and content plans.

    Content Creation and Management

    • Produce engaging and informative content for various platforms, including website, landing pages, email, SMS, WhatsApp, blogs, social media, newsletters and press releases.
    • Generate content that resonates with Prodigy’s target audience, showcasing value propositions and benefits of the solution for international master’s students.
    • Ensure consistent tone, style and messaging across communications materials and channels.
    • Oversee the creation of multimedia content, including videos, infographics, and other visual assets.

    Brand Management

    • Ensure brand consistency in all communication material and across all channels, i.e. brand voice and messaging frameworks.
    • Develop and maintain content and brand guidelines, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and objectives.
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform brand positioning.

    Public Relations and Social Media

    • Review media content in the form of press releases and articles on a case-by-case basis.
    • Support editorial plans and requirements for social media and other content-dependent efforts across functions when required.

    Team Management

    • Lead, mentor and empower the communications specialists to foster a collaborative creative work environment to deliver on their responsibilities.
    • Provide communications specialists with guidance and direction for planning, execution and outcome (goals and key results) on an ongoing basis.
    • Ensure their SOPs, Communications Briefing template and RACI models are followed.
    • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and weekly performance checks to ensure that the communications specialists are delivering on their priorities.
    • Supervise external contributors where applicable and edit or rewrite contributions where needed.

    Analytics and Reporting

    • Ensure the team prepare regular reports on their email campaigns detailing performance metrics and insights for functional, domain and company performance meetings;
    • Weekly domain meetings
    • Bi-weekly performance and learning meetings
    • Monthly Marketing Report

    Content and Communications Tech Operations

    • Responsible for building out of landing pages and updating of web pages when required using the content management system
    • Oversee design for communications and content within the content management system and customer engagement platforms.
    • Oversee the email journey build, content structuring, tagging and email implementation using Prodigy’s customer engagement platform.

    Qualifications and experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field
    • Proven experience in communications, content creation, and brand management, preferably in the Fintech or financial services industry
    • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
    • Knowledge of SEO, web analytics and content optimisation
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, customer engagement, content management and social media platforms
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Credit Risk Originations Manager

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Your primary responsibility is the design and implementation of a credit origination strategy which meets the business objectives. 
    • You will manage a team of analysts and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to support their growth. 
    • You will also manage the credit underwriters and be responsible for decisions on escalated credit cases and other operational tasks.
    • You will be the owner of the Loan Originations Policy and Credit Risk SOP. 
    • You will work closely with the Predictive Analytics (Data Science) team in the design of Credit Models that predict the Probability of Default, the future earnings potential of our customers and the risk of the schools that we support. 
    • You will work closely with the product managers who work on the design of our financial product, the verification of our customer information and the disbursement of our loans. 
    • You will work closely with the legal and compliance team to make sure that our underwriting strategy is compliant with Prodigy’s regulatory model.
    • From time to time, you will present our credit underwriting strategy externally to debt or equity investors. 

    Qualifications and Experience:

    Senior Software Engineer

    What are some of the responsibilities of this role?

    Qualifications and experience

    • 6+ years of professional experience in programming
    • 2+ years experience in React Native / React Web development

    • Strong appreciation for UI/UX standards and a passion for developing beautiful interfaces

    Software Engineering Team Lead

     What are the key responsibilities of the role?

    • Coding across the full stack
    • Leadership - coaching and mentoring the members of your team
    • Ownership of the development, improvement and expansion of the of our prodigyfinance.com website along with our React customer onboarding application and associated Ruby on Rails APIs, expanding its availability to cater to all customer use cases
    • Reviewing pull requests and co-ordinating deploys via our Jenkins build pipelines

    • Work with the team, UX designers and Product to redesign and implement industry leading, frictionless customer experiences for the early stages of the customer journey
