    Business Development Manager East Africa (Sales Executive / FMCG / INCO)

    Job Description:

    Our client is looking for individual who has experience in Export Trading to join their team in the role of Business Development Manager for East Africa.  The candidate should be someone with a driven personality and who keeps learning at every opportunity and who always gives 110% of themselves. Sales experience is a must.
     
    Responsibilities:
     

    • Achieve the profit budgets which the incumbent will set annually for approval by the MD
    • Seek and identify opportunity in the market
    • Successfully negotiate a trade using negotiation and salesman's skills
    • Maintain a high level of service to clients
    • Comply with the regulations of the various markets
    • Comfortably work within the company's logistical and financial controls

    Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    • Matric (tertiary qualification adventitious)
    • Minimum 5-8 years as a business development manager within the FMCG sector
    • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing deals.
    • Good knowledge of FMCG products
    • Good mathematical understanding and an ability to read numbers
    • Working knowledge of INCO terms both on a buying and selling basis

    Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    • 8 to 12 years’ experience in HR of which at least 3 years must be in a Senior Management capacity.
    • Post-Graduate Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology. Leadership/Management qualification an advantage.
    • Possess broad knowledge and experience in human resource management.
    • Possess solid experience in change management and organisational Development.
    • Must have Rest of Africa experience.
    • Ability to drive HR strategies with a foundation of HR business metrics to increase organizational profitability and effectively align the workforce.
    • Great communication skills; understands how to communicate large complex change using written, verbal and listening skills.
    • Proven track record of influencing and coaching executives to organize strategically to scale and flex with business needs.
    • Adaptable and able to cope with a dynamic environment.
    • Be reliable, have integrity and display a professional approach. Maintain confidentiality of all information, both from internal and external sources.
    • Have solid business acumen.
    • Must be willing to travel across the Africa continent.

    Senior HR Business Partner - (Financial Services / Human Resources / Senior / Strategic)

    Job Description

    Responsibilities:
    Business Transformation

    • Ensures BU Business leaders are equipped to lead change.
    • Supports efficient and effective BU transformation through the delivery of change.
    • Manages the development of organisational development and effectiveness plans to address medium term business needs.
    • Advises BU Exco teams on improving employee engagement at all levels and on building a high performance culture aligned to the overall Segment plans.

     
    Strategy Implementation

    Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    • Post-graduate degree in Human Resources
    • A minimum of 5-8 years HR generalist experience and  3-4 years management experience of a big HR team and function
    • Ability and experience in managing a big business unit client area of 2800 plus staff
    • Previously a key player in a business transformation programme(s) will be advantageous
    • Experienced and highly analytical and results orientated
