Overview

We are looking to fill an exciting role in our Special Services team. We are looking for a bright analytical thinker who is willing to fully immerse themselves in the job.

Team Objective

To be able to identify circumstances where VAT should have been claimed by our clients but was not, based on a historical analysis of client activity.

Brief Job Description

• Assessing data of client’s VAT reclaim history and identifying “missed” reclaim opportunities
• Researching events and exhibitions and confirming whether or not our current clients attended such events
• Utilizing various tools (Excel, Qlikview) to find new ways of identifying the above mentioned scenarios
• Contacting suppliers to retrieve the invoices for the above mentioned scenarios

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric certificate
• An extremely analytical thinker who does not take anything at face value
• A problem solver
• Excellent excel skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• A curious and investigative nature

Advantageous:

• Data Science Microsoft certification
• BSC Computer Science
• BCom Informatics
• Internal Audit background/experience
• Experience with Qlikview
