Graphic Designer at AdMakers International

We are looking for an accomplished Graphic Designer to join our team: we want someone who thinks a little differently, someone who can attack an open brief with very few parameters in addition to executing detailed briefs. The ideal candidate is keen to go above and beyond of what’s traditionally expected of a designer, as well as tackle through-the-line brand and retail work. Our perfect Designer must have a keen eye for detail and work well under pressure facing tight deadlines and intense pitches. A bonus would be if our new recruit has skills in retail advertising – anything unexpected that can add value.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Originate concepts along with a copywriter or working independently.
• Create presentations to sell the concept.
• Execute print elements from concept to finished artwork (no DTP team). 
• Action job bags with debriefs already in the system.
• Sign-off printers proofs.

Requirements

• Understanding of marketing strategy and branding.
• Conceptual thinking.
• Computer skills. Photoshop. InDesign. Illustrator.
• Good design and finished artwork skills.

Experience/Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience.
• Relevant degree/diploma.
• Retail advertising experience advantageous.
