    Product Manager - Kempton Park(Gauteng)

    Würth South Africa is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager and Market Developer to drive the growth and expansion of our product range in the construction and installation sector, with a specific focus on anchor technology.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Matric or Equivalent.
    • Certification/Diploma in Engineering or Technical Studies beneficial.
    • In depth knowledge in Anchor Technology and related construction products.
    • Proven experience in business development and sales in B2B.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
    • Excellent analytical skills incl. high proficiency in excel and BI, ability to derive actionable insights from data.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of market trends in construction and engineering.
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Well-founded experience in sales and account development.
    • Ability to present complex solutions to high level management and decision-makers.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Clear disciplinary record.
    • Clear criminal and credit record.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    •  Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the construction and installation sectors, with a specific focus on anchor technology.
    •  Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, enhance, and maintain a competitive product portfolio that meets market demands and exceeds customer expectations.
    • Market Development Strategy: Devise comprehensive market access and growth strategies, including marke segmentation, pricing, and distribution channels, to maximize market penetration.
    •  Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to end-of-life, ensuring products are positioned optimally in the market.
    •  Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitors' activities and market share, providing insights to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
    • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, engineers and quantity surveyors, understanding their needs and gathering feedback for product improvements.
    •  Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to provide them with the necessary tools, training, and materials to effectively promote and sell products.
    • Financial Management: Manage the product portfolio's financial performance, including budgeting, pricing, and forecasting.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
