About The Role
The Production Manager role is responsible for the total results of the manufacturing facility in Pinetown. The role calls for an incumbent that has a proven track record of successfully managing a large manufacturing facility, implementing strategic operational initiatives and people leadership and development. What You Will Do

• You will manage, lead and be responsible for total Operation’s results for manufacturing.
• You will be a role model for Safety and Quality and support all business strategic initiatives.
• You will be a key contributor to the site’s goals & objectives and will lead the manufacturing plants in achieving these.
• You will make decisions that are largely operational in nature; building manufacturing capability and implementing and maintaining best practice systems & principles in line with world-class standards.
• You will be accountable for manufacturing variances & the manufacturing budget.
• You will coach and mentor team members in problem-solving methodologies (DOM, DDS, R2S) thereby driving continuous improvement within the factories.
• You will be accountable for people development within the factories.
   

Who You Are

• Must have a tertiary qualification in Operations Management or Production Management or Engineering qualification.
• Must have 3 - 5 years proven successful experience in Operations or Production Management.
• Must have a high level of technical competence be results-driven.
• Must have effective communication skills with methodical approach to problem solving techniques.
• Must have an open mind with clear business acumen in assessing any risks and business decisions.

About The Role

HR Services Team Leader coordinates the activities for a team within a defined service area ensuring that the agreed services are processed accurately and on time. What You Will Do

• You will coordinate all activities of a team to ensure that the services are processed accurately and on time and in compliance with policies and legal regulations.
• You will make decisions that are largely operational in nature, implementing and maintaining the policies and processes for the team and/or HR-area managed.
• You will provide input to process improvement and continuously improve your own area of responsibility.
• You will assist in communications, to your own organization and potentially other HR functions and line managers.
• You will conduct external communications to build effective long-term relationships typically with line managers, HR and employees.
• You will respond to Essity related enquiries from team members and check their work to ensure that the processes are delivered accurately.
• You will coach and mentor team members, assign tasks to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively and provide feedback on employee performance.
• You will provide input to next level on employee performance and on specific unit operations.
• You will contribute to finding and implementing effective solutions in a matrix organization.
• You will execute specific part of serviced by yourself.
   

Who You Are

• Must have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management or Business Administration (related disciplines)
• Must have 3 - 5 years' experience in providing and managing HR Administration services (payroll, employee administration, car & travel administration etc.)
• Must have excellent computer literacy skills (intermediate to advanced level) in Office Microsoft package
• Must have a strong functional knowledge of HR Information Systems and Payroll
• Must have experience working in multinational company environment and matrix organization
• Must have good command of English language both written and verbal
