    Training Manager

    Job Description

    • Responsible for training in-house systems, business processes and guidelines to all analysts in EMEA Region
    • Conduct WC overview training for new employees in other business units in EMEA Region or other areas (outside of EMEA) as requested by Business Unit Managers.
    • Setting up and Managing Training Schedules for new analysts.
    • Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training/coaching (for new analysts until handover)
    • Conduct refresher training for all analysts in EMEA Region
    • Identify training needs and designs, develops or sources necessary training courses to ensure department objectives for the specific disciplines are met.
    • Identify topics for e-Learning, plan and develop material and associated admin related to roll-out of such e-Learning
    • Update Guidelines / facilitates Guideline updates / post updated guidelines on The Hub and sends out notifications of updates to stakeholders as required.
    • Determine training needs of analysts by; conferring with Managers and analyzing QA reports.
    • Undertake associated administrative tasks (Training Schedules, Attendance Registers, Training Reports etc).
    • Review analysts work through probation period (or longer if necessary) until handover to the SME.

    Proposition Sales Specialist- Electronic Trading

    Job Description
    Grow Refinitiv’s Electronic trading market share by proactively developing and deploying domain-based strategies in collaboration with market development and account management teams.
    We are looking for an energetic trading platform sales specialist to be a part of our global and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be very comfortable with technology, have strong communication skills, and must be a fast learner. The position requires deep understating of eFX markets, trading workflow, and treasury solutions market landscape. Candidates with a background or very strong interest in electronic trading and institutional trading including derivatives like options and futures trading will have a unique advantage. We are looking for the right personality that will match our collegial and respectful culture while putting the needs of our clients first and striving to achieve the goals set by our management team. The right candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of capital markets regulations too.
    Role and Responsibilities

    • To identify, prospect and target new clients to sell our FX e-trading solutions
    • Achieve target objective results for new client adoption and the trading volume for assigned geographic territories by understanding client FX trading requirements and the underlying workflow
    • Develop deep relationships with FX clients and ensure all potential revenue opportunities have been identified.
    • Effectively manage the sales process from the initial sale, contract signature, document processing/set up to installation, live trading and revenue generation
    • Work well within a team environment to drive growth across a range of client types

    Qualifications And Experience Required

    • 5+ years of industry, sales or market experience
    • Deep knowledge of e-trading platforms, FX or other financial markets software product via either a vendor or bank
    • Proven track record in a quota bearing sales environment
    • Deep market understanding including a) expert understanding of financial market b) knowledge of relevant market c) a strong understanding of customers' business model workflow
    • World-class selling skills (identity, develop, & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a “hunter”
    • knowledge of trading floor tech/data apps

    Proposition Sales Specialist – Pricing & Reference, MEA

    Job Description
    This role sits within our Financial & Risk (“F&R”) business. On January 30, 2018, Thomson Reuters announced that it signed a definitive agreement to enter into a strategic partnership with private equity funds managed by Blackstone related to the company's F&R business. As part of the transaction, Thomson Reuters has agreed to sell a 55% majority stake in Financial & Risk and will retain a 45% interest in the business. Thomson Reuters will maintain full ownership of its Legal, Tax & Accounting and the Reuters News businesses. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of the year and is subject to specified regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.     Overview
    The Pricing & Reference specialist plays a vital role in ensuring our customer’s unleash the full power of Refinitiv by discovering and implementing a workflow solutions while continuously providing scalable yet adaptable guidance throughout the customer’s journey. Proposition Sales for Pricing & Reference is part of the Enterprise specialists’ team in MEA. The Proposition Sales Specialist is responsible for creating awareness, providing deep functional expertise, prospecting, selling, and growing Pricing & Reference proposition across the MEA market. This is a quota bearing position that covers Middle East & Africa market, and will require regular travels and thought leadership engagements.
    Key Responsibilities Of Role

    • Develop and execute the sales strategy for Pricing and Reference proposition across MEA
    • Provide insights and share Refinitiv thought leadership on Pricing & Reference proposition with customers
    • Deliver customer demonstrations on Pricing & Reference propositions

    Qualification/Skills

    • More than 5 years of selling experience in B2B consultative selling within the Financial industry
    • Must have deep workflow knowledge of & experience in dealing with different departments such as Trading, Capital Markets, Research, Compliance, Back office, Funds, Reporting etc.
    • Demonstrate great understanding of using pricing, reference data and time-series events for investment decision making for buy-side and sell-side market players
    • Abreast with industry trends around Financial markets, instruments and related policies
    • Ability to map a customer’s business process to product capability
    • Executive engagement skills with an ability to establish trusted advisor relationships with business decision-makers
    • Experience in leading customer meetings and presenting to an audience in a concise, inspirational and convincing manner
    • Ability to navigate complex customer and stakeholder environments, manage communications and project/engagement plans
    • Well organised and self-motivated with the ability to work independently but also to be a team player
    • Strong technology skills including Excel, API, related algo software etc.
    • Financial Markets certification will be an advantage

    Proposition Sales Specialist - Risk

    As a subject matter expert to pre-sales and pursuit activities, you will act in of support Account Managers and Solution Sales focusing on all sales (new, cross-sells, up-sells) for proposition in a given territory with both existing and new customers. You will lead on deals aligned to specific propositions and serve accounts within a defined territory. The role works in close partnership with internal stakeholders to proactively drive gross sales and revenue..
