    Team Lead – Brand (South Africa)

    Description

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing brand execution and ensuring consistent brand messaging.  They will need to manage our brand advertising efforts aligned to brand strategy, manage the brand identity; be able to develop brand campaigns; measure brand performance; enhance brand experience and lead the central brand team. They need to translate brand strategy into brand plans, working closely with the BU marketing teams to ensure that the Investec Brand is coherent, consistent and aligned.  

    Responsibilities & essential job functions

    • Lead a brand team – ensuring high performance, sharing best practice and living Out of the Ordinary
    • Guide and input to marketing strategies of each area working with to achieve business and marketing objectives, to both internal and external audiences (where relevant).
    • Apply discipline with regards to brand guidelines and frameworks
    • Manage timelines, expectations and relationships, delivering on high quality projects aligned to objectives.
    • Collaborate with business units and cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive brand advertising campaigns that align with objectives, including creative agencies, digital, and media teams.
    • Manage advertising budgets, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. 
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, including creative, media, and digital agencies. 
    • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, and identify new opportunities for innovation and growth.
    • Conduct regular audits of creative and marketing materials for consistency and to ensure they align with brand CI.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
    • Work across specialist teams including BUs, brand, digital, events, print/production, sponsorships, copy, store, research & strategy and operations

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum of 8 years marketing experience, ideally experience in agemcy management, with a proven track record of building and maintaining successful partnerships.
    • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • In-depth knowledge of advertising channels, including digital, social, and traditional media.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand advertising, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns across multiple channels.

    • Partnering with, and Providing operational and administrative support to the Wealth Manager

    The Result 

    • Manage and streamline all administrative processes for the investment manager.
    • Client assistance with; onboarding and account opening, additions and repurchases, adhoc and regular payments from their investment portfolio, loading and processing of payments.
    • Manage ad hoc client queries, reporting and administrative matters.

    .NET Developer - senior (UK Offshore: Credit Risk) - SandtonEmployee

    Description

    Investec Sandon is looking for a senior .NET Developer in the Credit Risk team within the UK Offshore Technology division.  Investec is in the process of rebuilding its credit application and decision system to integrate with the existing suite of credit risk applications and wider deal workflow within the Bank.  This role works collaboratively within product teams to create and support rich, interactive applications that help businesses manage their finances and risk exposure. You will be responsible for your area of specialisation, as well as for all aspects of product development from interacting with stakeholders and users, to design, development, and deployment, through to production monitoring and support.

    This will be a greenfield project and we intend to use a combination of Angular Front End, .NET, and Azure to build out the credit workflow and integration with existing rating and limits functionality.  There will be opportunities to contribute to the Azure migration projects for the existing applications within the Risk Technology and wider Central Trading and Risk suite of applications.

    The Credit Risk function is responsible for assessing the likelihood of a counterparty defaulting on their commitments to Investec and the impact to the Bank if a default were to occur. We have a suite of applications that encompasses credit application and decisioning, credit model execution and impairments calculation. We have a significant program of work to rebuild our credit application and decisioning platform as well as building capability for credit model execution to support the Bank's aspirations to achieve Advanced Internal Ratings Based compliance.

    Access Management Platform Engineer - senior (ITS - Access Management Platform)

    Description of the role 

    Investec is looking for an access management senior engineer to join a team of dynamic individuals in the Enterprise Applications Access Management Platform Team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in solutioning and delivery of the technical/product roadmap for Investec's AM solution and operation of the platform, working closely with internal stakeholders and reporting back to the platform lead and ITS.     AV VC Specialist (Networks & Communications)

    Description
    Reporting to the Service Lead for Meeting & Collaboration, the AV VC Specialist is seen as a seasoned technical expert in the AV VC field and knowledgeable in the broader Network & Communications space.

    This is a highly technical hands-on and senior technical role, with a focus on delivering and supporting high quality AV VC services.
