- 8 years relevant experience in Human Resources Management of which at least 3 years must be at a senior management level in respect of any of the following fields:

- Employment Equity
- Talent and Performance Management
- Staff Provisioning
- Employee Wellness
- Computer Literacy.
Preferred Requirements:

Key Responsibility Areas:
- Types schedules and reports of a major nature i.e. contracts etc as well as various general correspondence.
- Undertakes copy-typing of documents and Dictaphone functions i.e. transcribing recordings.

Key Responsibility Areas:
- Studies, evaluates and prepares opinions on the capabilities of the department to support strategic intent in terms of Engineering Infrastructure division and maintenance.
- Applying principles and statutory provisions related to protecting the environment and safety of the population to assess and interpret the applicability of the content of policy frameworks and related guidelines on project management of Engineering interventions with the varying levels of complexities in the built or developing or undeveloped environment in the region.
- Executes delegated responsibilities in respect of leading professional project teams from inception to completion and contributes to the identification and development of key professional Engineering skills.
- Manages the principles and applications associated with the development and presentation of technical designs for complex forms of a variety of Engineering works relating to the departments area of responsibility including the compilation of technical codes of practice.
- Manages procedures associated with the preparation and collation of contract documentation and evaluating tender applications for a variety of complex engineering works relating to the Department, including the development of life cycle cost models.
- Defines appropriate standards and controls the implementation/ outcomes of a variety of complex forms of Engineering contracts.
- Manages the Departments responsibilities associated with the development and execution of an Asset Management Plan that supports the broader Unit strategy.
- Disseminates information on the professional and technical aspects of engineering design concepts and provides reports detailing interventions and outcomes relating to a variety of complex forms of engineering works.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering (NQF Level 8) in Electrical Engineering.
- Registered as a Professional Electrical Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
- Valid motor vehicle driving license
- 7 years post registration experience relevant to the electricity distribution or transmission industry.
