    Senior Solutions Architect - AWS

    As the Senior Solutions Architect at TOD, you will be responsible for the establishment and development of the AWS Technical team as well as have oversight of all technical requirements.  TOD is a dynamic Cloud Solutions and Services aggregator focussed on the SMB market to help the channel realise its full potential. This exciting role will not only require you to build and lead a new team of specialists but also to deliver our partners the best service and guidance, underpinned by superior technical expertise.

    As the Senior AWS Solutions Architect you will report to the AWS Business Unit Lead and working closely with them your skill and expertise will ensure that TOD is acknowledged as the preferred and market-leading AWS technical centre of excellence.

    In this role you will:

    • Work with the BU Lead to formulate the strategic technical vision for TOD, thereafter take ownership of driving it to establish and expedite the growth of the AWS Business Unit. To do this successfully, you will need to collaborate extensively both internally and externally, namely with AWS and partners.
    • Build trusted business relationships with AWS counterparts and key partners while also keeping abreast with AWS technology developments to ensure relevant and competitive solutions are designed for commercialisation.
    • Work with key stakeholders to understand and then match customer needs with relevant Cloud solutions. You will therefore leverage your deep AWS understanding to provide technical leadership internally and externally, assisting and supporting partners in the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.
    • Guide and grow your team to deliver best-in-class service and support to differentiate TOD to be acknowledged as the preferred and market-leading AWS technical centre of excellence.
    • Take ownership of the Technical team’s continuous learning and certifications to ensure that the Technical team plays their part in TOD achieving and maintaining Competencies, Tiering requirements, and building out chosen Practices.
    • The Technical team is core to the success of the AWS BU and TOD as a whole, responsible for leading complex assignments, driving the adoption of AWS solutions, and ensuring that the most appropriate technical approaches are adopted per scenario as well as at a global level to align with overarching business objectives.

    Experience, Qualifications, Skills, and Other Requirements:

    • Grade 12, or equivalent
    • Tertiary qualification preferred.
    • AWS certifications: Specialty and Professional level certifications e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Professional
    • Demonstrable experience working in the AWS ecosystem and leading teams in AWS environments
    • 2+ years’ experience working and leading teams in the AWS environment
    • Proven track record in business solution development
    • Cloud-based product solutioning experience essential.

    Technical Operations Manager

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure and system architecture with hands-on experience in these key areas. 

    The Technical Operations Manager will work closely with the Alviva Group IT Team and key platform suppliers as well as all departments in TOD to ensure that all systems, platforms, and generated data contribute to TOD’s continued growth.

    Technical Expertise:

    • Possess a strong understanding of the technical aspects relevant to the organization’s operations.

    Sales Manager: Business Solutions

    Head of Demand Generation

    Job Details

    This role is a blend of strategic leadership, innovative thinking, and analytical capability; undergirded by deep marketing prowess.  To drive demand for TOD and its Cloud solutions you will ensure that TOD’s priorities are aligned with those of the Vendors’ growth strategies and will therefore oversee the appropriate allocation of Market Development Funds. Working closely with Program Managers you will take advantage of Vendor promotions and incentive programs to enhance profitability, ensuring that they fit with TOD’s strategies.

    Using data to build credible brand awareness and trust, you will ensure that the right Cloud-based solutions with the right advantages are offered through a comprehensive go-to-market approach.  Further, these will be ably supported by appropriate product market fit that ultimately impacts the growth and enhancement of these businesses.  You will be responsible for the formulation and execution of the Demand Generation strategy therefore overall offering, lead generation, and nurturing, including responsibility for TOD’s digital and social marketing strategies.

    You will be responsible for a team of dynamic and highly energized individuals.  As such, your team leadership experience and people development will come to the fore as a key ingredient for the unit’s success.  Additionally, the role will require you to establish and maintain strong relationships with other functions internally as well as strategic external stakeholders.

    Your grasp of Cloud solutions and keeping abreast with the market and AWS developments will set you apart in your endeavor to design and implement scalable partner development strategies.

    In this role, you will:

    • Work with the BU Lead to formulate a strategic vision for superior partner experience that ensures TOD is relevant, thereafter take ownership of implementing the vision to build a partner base. To do this successfully, you will need to collaborate extensively both internally and externally with AWS, partners, and other strategic contributors.
    • Build trusted business relationships with AWS counterparts and key partners while also keeping abreast with AWS technology developments to ensure relevant and competitive solutions are offered to customers. To achieve this, you will have to collaboratively work with key stakeholders to understand and then match customer needs with relevant Cloud solutions.
    • Work closely with the internal AWS team to drive a cohesive strategy that delivers programs and initiatives aimed at partner adoption, growth, and enhanced experience. Part of this will require that you quickly identify roadblocks and pain points experienced by partners and then find ways to solve these.
    • Work with partners to help them develop scalable Go-To-Market strategies that ensure the set sales targets are achieved. Not only will this set you apart as a trusted advisor but will also ensure longevity of partner relationships.
    • Build a team of motivated PDMs whom you will guide and grow to deliver best-in-class partner experience, achieve targets, and ultimately grow the business. Further, you will take ownership of the team’s continuous learning and development through certifications and other avenues.
