    Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    Associate, Mergers & Acquisitions

    Responsibilities

    • Advising clients on a wide range of matters, with a particular focus on Mergers & Acquistions. Associates work in a collegiate environment, for a range of partners, and can expect a good variety of work.
    • Associates are given regular and direct contact with clients, with a culture based on associates being given the level of responsibility they are ready for, rather than a PQE based method of work allocation.
    • Developing relationships with clients including gaining a good knowledge of the client’s businesses, economic drivers, market and sector requirements in order to ensure advice is relevant and commercial.
    • There are regular opportunities for secondments with clients. Posting to other offices under the firm's associate transfer program is also a possibility.
    • Engaging in business development activities and being active in the promotion of the firm and seeking opportunities for new work.
    • Working as part of a team including assisting with the supervision of junior lawyers’ work and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and experience with the team.

    Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    • A qualified lawyer with excellent academic credentials
    • English law qualified
    • Experience working cross borders as well as local counsel experience
    • Current experience in the M&A department of a leading firm
    • 6 years’ relevant experience
    • First rate technical skills needed to support the client work of the department
    • Commerciality and demonstrable business development experience

    Pressure Vessel Design Engineer ( ASME / Maritime / Offshore / Solidworks / Mechanical / Costing )

    Job Description
    Our client, a successful maritime and offshore company, is looking for an experienced pressure vehicle design engineer to join their team. The incumbent would be a go-getter, enthusiastic and possess a solid track record in the field and extensive technical capability.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead designers in the design of pressure vessels.
    • Develop concept designs of pressure vessels to facilitate proposals and perform budget costings.
    • Perform the structural analysis of a pressure vessel and prepare design reports.
    • Submit designs and reports to approval authorities and resolve technical queries.
    • Pressure Vessel design and analysis using PV Elite and Solidworks.

    Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    • At least 7 years experience in pressure vessel design with ASME VIII division 1.
    • At least 5 years experience in Solidworks modeling and simulation.
    • Experienced with use of exotic materials
    • Some experience with ASME VIII division 2 and EN13445 will be an advantage.

    Customer Support Representative (Customer Services / Sales / Marketing / Crane Operations)

    Job Description
    A Customer Support Representative plays a very important role at growing the company’s market share by securing relationships with clients and in so doing generate company revenues
    Responsibilities

    Site Surveys:

    • Evaluate the customer’s on-site requirements in terms of crane capacity, additional transport, rigging and equipment.

    Quotations:

    • Formalizing the sales offer by providing the customer with a documented quotation specifying pricing in the prescribed format.

    Documentation:

    • Ensure that clients submit all relevant documentation required to formalize the trade relationship i.e. credit applications, vendor applications etc.

    Client Relationship Development & Management:

    • Source new business opportunities;
    • Manage existing client base;
    • Coordinate price and/or discount negotiations as deemed appropriate;
    • Ensure that client dissatisfactions and complaints are formally addressed and resolved;
    • Ensure customer’s account is within payment terms;
    • Engage with customer if account is overdue on payment;
    • In conjunction with the finance department facilitate the successful conclusion all outstanding payment issues.

    Administration:

    • Liaise with Operations in terms of client requirements and secure booking/s with the submission of prescribed documentation.
    • Ensure all Hire Agreements are signed, and the office order is received
    • Ensure that the money is banked before the hire occurs, for all cash clients
    • Resolve queries relating to invoices, log sheets and clients’ general queries

    Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    • Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
    • Sales Qualification
    • 3 years minimum experience in the same or similar environment
    • Knowledge of the industry
    • Work independently
    • Working knowledge of crane operations
    • Accurate interpretation of crane capacity charts and site requirements
    • Must be sales driven and customer service orientated
