    Specialist: Master Data Management

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

    • The Specialist Master Data Management (MDM) is responsible for performing Master Data Management activities in the areas of Human Resources (HR), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Finance and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) which entails supporting processes relating to master data maintenance and master data migration for MTN Operating Companies (Opcos) and SSH.
    • The Specialist: Master Data Management reports to the Manager: Master Data Management. As part of the role, the incumbent will perform the above-mentioned activities through interactions with Opco, SSH and Service Delivery function at the SSH via Oracle and non-process workflows, as applicable to ensure master data integrity, data standards and change management. This includes ensuring and reviewing data integrity.

    Master Data Maintenance

    • Responsible for “business as usual” data requests (creation, amendments, extension, deletion, blocking and unblocking activities) in SSH
    • Support in the use of data controls, processes and procedures to mitigate business risks
    • Maintenance of Finance, HR, SCM & EAM templates and terminology
    • Facilitate prompt query resolution for tickets raised to SSH
    • Validation of requests to ensure that they are appropriate and meet Opco and Group policies
    • Administer approved master data change requests
    • Ensure all requests are completed within Agreed Service Levels
    • Adhere to MDM practices, polices as defined
    • Support the Manager, MDM in identifying improvement areas for enhancing the MDM process

    Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)

    Manager: Business Engagement – Analytics Translator

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

    • The Consultant is responsible for business engagement and demand management for the Business Intelligence Competency Centre (BICC) for all the supporting business units in MTN.
    • The role will work with multiple stakeholders within MTN to make sure their BI needs are properly collected, interpreted into appropriate analytics use cases, prioritized and implemented into appropriate analytics models and/or BI tools that match the needs identified. In this role, the Translator will liaise between Businesses and Data Scientists, and responsibility may also encompasses development of functional specifications and MVP/pilot plans for new BI tool development. The Consultant acts as a champion for the BICC’s internal clients and makes sure user feedback is incorporated into the agile design process in the Data Analytics team.

    Graduate: IT Infrastructure Services

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

    • The Graduate: IT Infrastructure Services will be responsible to assist with and provide an end-to-end administrative support service to the Group IT Infrastructure Services function at Manco.

    Key Performance Areas: Core, essential responsibilities / outputs of the position (KPA's)
    The graduate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:

    • General administration, support and co-ordination of functions for the Group IT Infrastructure Services
    • Compile reports according to required formats and provide status / progress reports as required
    • Prepare presentations using information received
    • Drive improvement across the business to achieve the optimal service quality deliverables
    • Research of content for presentations, creation and editing of presentations, presentation layout and quality assurance in alignment with MTNs corporate communication standards
    • Editing of media (videos, audio) to reduce length while capturing the essence of the presentations / meetings

    General Manager: Network Strategy and Architecture

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

    • The General Manager Network Strategy and Architecture is responsible to provide group wide leadership in all aspects of network strategy development, from roadmap creation, to delivery to the market.
