Purpose Of The Job
Consolidated Group Fixed Assets Management [processing, administration, and management reporting (accounting and tax)]. Assist in the processing of standard journals, preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and various ad hoc requests within the Corporate Finance department
Responsibilities
- Processing of additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation for all companies within the Premier Group on Microsoft Dynamics GP in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and within prescribed deadlines
- CAPEX project management administration, i.e., processing and monitoring of CAPEX projects
- Maintenance of Fixed Assets Registers
- Maintenance of Tax Asset Registers
- Compiling Capex and depreciation forecasts for budget and 5-year plan
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Continuous Improvement and updating of relevant SOPs
- Facilitating audits of fixed assets (internal and external)
Qualifications:

- 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting role
- In depth knowledge of relevant IFRS
- In depth knowledge of relevant tax legislation

- Data Capturing of all dispatch administration
- processing invoices and capturing accurately
- Checking and verifying all invoices are printed
- Checking of physical stock against system stock and verifying of figures(on Month end)
- Checking and verifying physical stock against picking slips on trucks
- Stock Keeping Unit captured on loading spreadsheet
- Depot information captured correctly (Route/driver name/trays/time out)
- Pipeline information completed (Truck departure and loading times)
- Printing of documentation in the correct sequence
- Ensuring correct transfer entries are captured
- Conduct Invocom’s
- Gate release/invoices printed and put into driver’s bags
- Gate release captured accurately as per picking slip

- Required to work Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays as per shift roster
