    Technology Advisor

    Job description

    Overview

    Sage is looking for a vibrent, target driven individul to join our Mid-Market Sales Team.

    Key accountabilities:

    As a Telesales Advisor, you’ll be responsible for:

    • Supporting the achievement of team and departmental revenue objectives
    • Ensuring achievement of revenue targets.
    • Proactively encouraging growth and development within a defined base of customers
    • Consistently performing against KPIs and Departmental Standards set
    • Maximise all cross sell opportunities
    • Take responsibility for maintaining your own product and procedural knowledge
    • Provide sales support to both internal and external customers.
    • Ensure that feedback is relayed to Team Manager should any of the standards or procedures require change due to system or business requirements.
    • Any other duties as instructed by the Team Manager within the parameters of the role.
    • To provide accurate pricing and information across the range of products.
    • Pro-actively and re-actively provide/source technical product advice and guidance to customers (if required).
    • Ensure that monthly and quarterly sales targets are met
    • Asses customer’s needs and advise on correct product for their business
    • Provide management with an accurate sales forecast and status on outstanding pipeline
    • Provide management with best practice solutions for problems
    • Accurately completes admin processes required as part of the role
    • Respond to all incidents logged on the system according to the timelines described in the department policy guidelines
    • Ensure no incidents in the system escalate
    • Ensure invoices are processed correctly with the associated proof of payment
    • Follow-up on outstanding payments on a regular basis
    • Log leads for other teams in the prescribed manner
    • Apply the Extraordinary Customer Experience (ECE) values to all areas of the role
    • Consistently live and be an example of the Sage values

    Skills, Expereince and Qualifications:

    • 2 - 3 years Telesales experience
    • Software Sales Experience (Preferable)

    Field Sales Consultant

    Job description

    Overview

    Sage is looking for a vibrent, target driven individul to join our Enterprise Sales Team.

    The successful caniddate will be accountable for meeting the sales quota and executing the strategy by relentlessly building a pipeline and driving local initiatives directly or with Business Partners. Responsible for selling X3 Fast Start / Cloud.

    Key accountabilities:

    • Meet sales quota.
    • Generate 12 leads & 3 QSO’s to the value of R 1,300,000.00 monthly to build pipeline.
    • Be active on social media for Sage – LinkedIn, Twitter, Chatter etc.
    • Setup business partner meetings to establish growth procedures.
    • Manage partner opportunities from inception to completion.
    • Support the Business Partners as requested.
    • Assist with customer briefings & sales readiness around the relevant products.
    • Setup site visits to meet with existing and potential customers.
    • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their specific business needs.
    • Apply product knowledge to meet those needs.
    • Be the expert in understanding technical / functional capabilities of Sage products.
    • Gather current marketplace information on newly introduced products, delivery schedules, pricing, and merchandising techniques to monitor competition.
    • Respond to quotation requests and assist with sales proposals.
    • Eliminate existing or outstanding sales issues by troubleshooting and problem-solving.
    • Consult with inside sales team and monitor sales life cycles until completed.
    • Managing own diary in order to organise and prioritise daily and weekly goals.
    • Contribute to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues.
    • Representation at events, road shows, trade fares, end user events, partner events and sales calls etc.
    • Generate effective market introduction for new products and cross selling to existing customers.
    • Follow marketing drives and promote them to partners and end users via emails, telephone follow ups or direct meetings.

    Skills, Expereince and Qualifications:
