    Sales Engineer (LV and MV) North West

    Job Description
    Sales and Promotion of Eaton ESS LV & MV Engineered Products, Solutions & Services to predominantly end user type customers. Promote ESS Products and Services to Influencers, Specifiers and Contractors to ensure future inclusion of Eaton product and services in project specifications. Communicating with existing and new customers, gathering market intelligence, benchmarking against competitors to understand and adjust strategy to suite market trends. Support colleagues and customers in Southern Africa to ensure team targets are achieved.

    • Identify and develop ESS sales and service opportunities in assigned market segment and key accounts.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with service partners to ensure growth and performance.
    • Be proficient in and maintain required sales tools.
    • Assist with market analysis, surveys and information required to develop business strategy.
    • Diligent upkeep of CRM C360 system information and any other forecasting tools required. Accurately update sales stages, monetary values and dates to ensure all information is current and of high quality to increase accuracy for planning and forecasting purposes. Visitation and activity details recorded continuously.
    • Continuous strive towards professional self-development by working to improve sales, business skills as well as product/application/service knowledge.
    • Assist customers in the design process of a particular solution/product application, whilst following the sales process through from developing customer needs to conclusion.
    • Forecast sales figures and pipeline status to assist with reporting accuracy.
    • Prepare, assist and compile quotations and tenders as and when required. Support estimation team at tendering phase to ensure accurate and professional offers are submitted.
    • Assist operations teams through engineering manufacturing and delivery phases, with regular follow up and support to ensure high customer satisfaction levels are maintained.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum tertiary qualification: National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Mining or Heavy industrial environment.
    • Extensive knowledge on motor control, distribution, medium voltage, automation and power quality products including the application thereof.
    • Experience in proven sales methodology and negotiation techniques to manage sales process from call planning, engaging customers, obtaining their business and building long term customer partnerships with effective account management.
    • Technical & product knowledge – Applies knowledge of technical and product capability to build creative solutions to customer needs and foster credible dialogue.
    • Competitive intelligence – Understand competitor capabilities, value propositions and pricing strategies to better position Eaton’s benefits to align with the business need.

    Digital Marketing Specialist

    Job Description
    This is an important role within the Eaton Africa marketing team supporting the sales organization to realize Eaton’s Electrical Sector growth plans in the continent. This role will be responsible for driving and leveraging outbound and inbound digital marketing activities, optimizing web platforms to capitalize on all inbound enquiries within the continent. You will champion the digital agenda within the Africa sales & marketing organization.

    The role will be responsible for the development and execution of triggered interactions (e.g. email, landing pages, automated programs and other communications) that drive increased awareness, consideration, prospect and customer engagement, member acquisition and engagement for Eaton across all stages of the buyer and customer lifecycle.
    This role is also accountable for efficient and effective reporting and publishing across all digital properties including Eaton external facing website(s) and social media channels to ensure best in class processes and standards are being realized.

    • Project manage and implement Digital Marketing projects.
    • Set up data-driven automated campaigns, apply customer segmentation and insights, build selection rules logic for targeted customer communication.
    • Develop and implement data base growth strategies and tactics, measure their outcome.
    • Set up effective campaign tracking and continuously monitor, test and optimize marketing campaigns to maximize their performance.
    • Analyze all digital activities and develop recommendations based upon results and effectiveness in meeting business objectives and to facilitate continual learning and improvement.

    Commercial Administrator

    Job Description

    • The Commercial Administrator – Electrical Division will lead the Contracts function for the Electrical Group and have responsibility for all commercial contracts. The role will work with other functions by providing analysis of business/contractual issues to support decision making and facilitate risk mitigation planning and execution.
    • Provides guidance on all commercial contract subject matters, including but not limited to tenders, NDA’s and Contract Guarantee’s.
    • Participates in governance reviews customer proposals for new business, Specification verification, terms and conditions negotiations, quality requirements and supply chain requirements.
    • Leads negotiations of agreements & contracts within delegated authority.
    • Understands the real business risks within Eaton SA Business and applies correctly clauses to minimize risks.
    • Identifies and manages contract changes and coordinates with other functions to assure timely response to cost, price and schedule impact. Effectively negotiates to acceptable contract modification.
    • Leads in the management/mitigation of customer claims and disputes. Assures organizational awareness of any such actions and provides timely progress reports and risk mitigation solutions to include initiation of corrective actions as needed. Engages with Corporate legal as required.
    • Supports and advises the Division and Business Unit Leadership through negotiation of major contracts & agreements.
    • Compilation of actual sales income figures and updating of enquiries list.
    • Verify that initial customer orders reflect Eaton commitments to the customer as reflected in the proposal and any subsequent negotiations.
    • Ensure orders are handed over to project management, in a timeous manner for processing.
    • Management of CLM-Tool (Eaton Contract Management Tool)
    • Administration of Commercial Documentation (general administration such as filing and signing of contracts)
    • Guide Standard Product sales staff with Commercials and NDA’s.

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution(LLB)
    Minimum 2 Years Of Contracts Experience.
    Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance from an accredited institution (B Com Law)
    Good Management Skill Set (Multiple Sites And Functions Preferred).

    • Estimating of LV & MV Small Works (Loose Starters, Isolators, DB’S, RMU’S) to include all control, protection, metering of switchgear and Automization of plant.
    • Ability to quote complete Switchgear will be an added advantage.
