Purpose of the role:

The Tech Advisory BU within KPMG, is looking for an experienced Oracle Business Development Manager who has successfully lead Business Development efforts across multiple South African industry sectors.

Reporting to the Associate Director the successful incumbent will be responsible for growing market share by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing Oracle enabled business opportunities.

Qualifications And Experience Required

• Tertiary qualification- BCom or BCom Honours in Sales/Marketing AND/OR Tertiary qualification in technology or information systems with relevant Oracle certifications
• MBA preferred
• Min 10 years Business Development / Oracle Sales Experience (preferably with experience in both product andservices business development and sales)
• Proven track record in business development, sales and client relationship management (ideally within the financial services, mining, telecommunications / public sector environment)
• The ability to establish and nurture internal networks across multidisciplinary service lines and experience with combining multiple service offerings to solve complex client problems
• Deep understanding of the Oracle marketplace and Oracle’s future direction and strategy
• Ability to engage with clients to understand their business, organization, culture, pain points, and compelling reasons to act on new initiatives

Key Areas Of Responsibility

• The Oracle Business Development Manager will be responsible for Oracle related business development activity across South Africa, realising both product (licence) sales and related services sales.
• Leads the identification, development and sales conversion of large innovative Oracle enabled business transformations.
• Is responsible for dynamic market screening, thought leadership, demand creation, opportunity identification, development, and conversion of opportunities that support the business strategy of the Oracle BU.
• Builds relationships with clients and coaches teams internally, including support around proposals in a driver capacity.
• Creates, articulates, and sells an innovative business vision and value proposition based on KPMG thought leadership.
• Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
• Locates or proposes potential business deals by working closely with internal and external business partners.
• Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential and returns.
• Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Reporting to the Associate Director the successful incumbent will be responsible for architecting and delivering Oracle centric solutions to complex client problems.

Qualifications And Experience Required

• Min 15 years Oracle Applications (EBS) experience

Key Areas Of Responsibility

• The Oracle Solution Architect will be responsible for architecting Oracle solutions in context of current / envisioned client enterprise architecture to address complex business problems.
• Participates in the identification, solution development and sales conversion of large innovative Oracle enabled business transformations, working closely with the Business Development Manager.
• Reviews, interprets and responds to detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to ensure alignment between solution architecture, business requirements and client expectations.
• Responsible for overall design and quality of Oracle solutions from proposal to final delivery acceptance by client
• Consults with and advises clients / supports other BUs on Oracle related engagements.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

To provide application and escalation support within KPMG South Africa’s networking and communications team.The day to day operational function for this position includes but is not limited to Microsoft Lync (2013), Microsoft Exchange (2010) and MS SQL.

Purpose Of The Job

• IPBR advises clients in assessing, designing, integrating and monitoring all aspects of their organisational security processes, ensuring that these processes are well defined, managed and optimised in order to mitigate information risk and release value from information security.
• Information Protection Services focuses on the governance and technical facets of information security, and services include the following, amongst others:
• Designing Information Security governance structures
• Information Security governance assessments and/or implementations
• Vulnerability assessments across various architectures and platforms
• Penetration testing across various architectures and platforms

Key Job Duties Or Responsibilities

• Supervision and mentoring of junior staff members, reviewing work, etc.
• Assist in compiling project / engagement plans, budgets, controlling billing, etc.
• Acting as a subject matter expert in defined fields
• Providing advice and recommendations to mitigate risks and release value from IT.
