    Area Sales Manager

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of identified and future specified key accounts, with the use of specified Account management & sales development methodology; customer facing, cross product offer and customer intimacy relationship development, sometimes requiring regional sales overlap

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Identify, develop and manage all business opportunities within the account. Map the account by identifying all buyers and influencers to create a constant string of revenues, achieving/exceeding the targets. Establish long term relationship with the senior exec staff and get support from ADI senior management in leveraging that constant relationship.
    • In collaboration with marketing, build a specific value proposition for the account.
    • Maintain accurate monthly forecast and sales opportunity pipeline
    • Creation and execution of detailed sales plan to achieve revenue objectives.
    • Duties and responsibilities include developing and executing business partnership strategies
    • Responsibilities will cover all facets of strategic key account business development, identifying new market opportunities for partnerships, identifying partners, initiating conversations, enumerating requirements, negotiating terms, closing deals and support account receivables collection.

    • Develop and maintain close working relationships with appropriate internal and external resources and partners.
    • Participate in account planning and strategy activity
    • Understand and appropriately leverage sales and support resources
    • Maintain high level of knowledge of our product offerings, roadmaps, competition, pricing, market share, and key product differentiation
    • Work to increase awareness and interest in our products and solutions

    YOU MUST HAVE 

    • Experience in the security products/distribution industry, ideally with previous business development experience and with CCTV product specialisation but overall knowledge of Intruder, Fire, Access Control, with an ability to provide solutions to customers
    • Experience closing deals with Multinational corporations
    • A clear proven understanding of developing partnerships, and co-selling relationships
    • Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in a small and collaborative environment to deliver against ambitious targets
    • Results orientation and strong decision making skills with the ability to prioritise multiple
    • Objectives and meet aggressive deadlines

    Desk Based Account Manager

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    We are a currently recruiting for a Desk Based Account Manager to join the ADI team in Johannesburg! The Desk Based Account Manager (DBAM) is a proactive Account Manager operating as the main contact for the customer, responsible for developing long term customer sales relationships.  Additionally, this role requires sales support for field Account Management, ensuring customer needs are dealt with in a timely and professional manner

    JOB DUTIES

    • Deliver individual sales target against revenue and GP as defined by ADI
    • Develop and grow strong relationships with allocated customer base
    • Includes outbound calls to generate sales and service opportunities – c20 per day
    • Inbound call handling to specific customer base and in support of field agents
    • Develop and document service support plans for existing and new customers
    • Accurately provide customer quotations and where required process manual orders to meet KPI’s
    • Work alongside external Account Manager to develop a partnership across a region to strengthen ADI presence
    • Direct customers to the correct teams for technical support & account queries
    • Upsell through attachments and complete solution orders
    • Support new business onboarding until account is allocated appropriately
    • Manage customer expectation and communicate with customer to resolve issues, complaints and invoice queries
    • Effectively communicate with both external & internal customers
    • Provide exception customer experience against all customer transactions
    • Develop and submit month sales reports to monitor agreed metrics
