    Key Performance Areas:

    • Preparation, conducting of lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars;

    • Marking and grading of student assessments;
    • Module coordination and quality assurance;
    • A range of administrative functions connected to the discipline and modules being taught;

    Other Job Requirements:

    Customer Relations Officer - Midrand

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Student Registration and Academic Progression Counselling

    Handyman

    Skillful hands, competency with hand tools and technical knowledge are important parts of a handyman’s arsenal. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job.

     Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Perform maintenance and light repairs.
    • Set up venues as per instruction from Facilities Co-ordinator when needed.
    • Paint and/or repair gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)
    • Undertake light installation or carpeting.
    • Look after and take accountability of tools and equipment in storerooms.

    Supervisor: Teaching Experience (Grade 7-12) (Independent Contractor) - Evander

    Job Purpose:

    The supervisor role will be required to observe student teachers that are studying the PGCE qualification at The IIE. The supervisor is required to visit a student teacher twice at a particular school. One observation will be for one lesson in the Senior Phase (Grade 7-9) and the other for Further Education in Training (Grade 10-12). The supervisor is required to provide developmental feedback and support the student teacher through an 8-week school based work integrated learning.

    Human Capital Management

    • Manages performance of staff within reporting teams.

    Senior Customer Relations Officer - Gqeberha

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Academic Leadership & Management

    • Develop and implement the strategic plan for the School in conjunction with the long-term vision of the Independent Institute of Education (IIE) Varsity College as a quality higher education provider.
    • Provide academic leadership for the undergraduate, post-graduate and continuing professional development (CPD) of the School.
    • Review and implement changes to the existing programmes curriculum.     
    • Develop new programmes in collaboration with The Central Academic Team Heads of Programme for accreditation and curriculum material development in the cognate area.
    • Manage and lead the interface with Independent Institute of Education (IIE) in the subject discipline within the School.
    • Develop and drive the implementation of relevant teaching and learning initiatives (i.e. blended learning) in the cognate area based on current industry and research trends.
    • Provide knowledge and expertise on an appropriate teaching model to provide optimal delivery of curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment.
    • Plan resource allocation for all aspects of running a successful programme e.g. Moot courts, Careers Fair, Programme Co-ordinators and training contracts.
    • Support and develop the national and campus academic teams in the delivery of the Teaching, Learning and Assessment strategies, e.g. Smart boards, Learning Management Systems (LMS) training and other relevant technology based applications.
    • Provide specialist knowledge and support to the national marketing team for the development of a marketing strategy for the School.
    • Analyse and report on students’ academic results: throughput rates, progression rates, graduation and completion rates on a national basis and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented where necessary.
    • Participate in key IIE governance structures and committees. (PCC, Faculty Boards, Academic Planning & Development Committee, Examinations Committee, Brands Results, Postgraduate & Research committee)

    Campus Support

    • Support the campuses in the recruitment, selection, approval and development of the teaching team in the cognate area. Approve all lecturer allocations per module *** (school specific).

    Credit Controller X2- Fixed Term Contract

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Collections/Handovers

    • Collections on outstanding accounts as per assigned aging
    • Following protocol in line with Standard Operating Procedures when dealing with different aging buckets
    • Meeting monthly collection targets and reducing portfolio risk
    • Ensure that all payment plans are adhered to
    • Escalation and assistance of account related queries (Billing/statements/Payments)
    • Ensure follow-ups are done on PTP's (Promise to pay) made on specific dates
    • Ensure all debit order returns are dealt with immediately and account payers are contacted to settle arrears and informed of rejection fee. First priority is to re-activate rejected debit order

    • Ensure suspensions/Handover list are sent to Debtors Manager first to be checked and then campus

    Administrations/Customer Service

    • Credit balance investigations and updating status/notes on portal
    • Assisting with campus finance administration functions as and when required
    • Assisting and dealing with queries via FreshDesk (VC Assist) as and when required
    • Assisting with other adhoc task when required

    • Processing of debit orders on the Absa banking system (1st/15th/25th) of each month.
    • Distribution of payment batches.

      Customer Service

    • Quality of work to be reviewed by Senior Credit Controller/Head: Finance (Meeting deadlines, communication (inbound/outbound), allocations, processing of credits, notes on debtors portal, holds on accounts, follows Standard Operating Procedure).
    • Maintenance of working file on a daily basis. All fields must be completed accurately in-order for any user to convert into reports.
    • Manage query resolutions received from internal and external stakeholders.
