    Water Plant Process Controller

    Job Description    
    Acacia is looking to recruit a Water Plant Process Controller to work in Umbogintwini. To operate Water Plant and carry out all Plant processes for Acacia in Umbogintwini.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Comply by regulations R813 regulations relating to Compulsory National Standards or Process Controllers.
    • Check reservoir levels and adjust pumping requirements to maintain reservoirs at maximum capacity by starting and stopping hi-lift pumps.
    • Checks pH value and chlorination level of water in the plant, checks turpidity level in the clear water wells for back wash purposes.
    • Reads and records flow on water meters on No.1 pumping main and Metro supply chain.
    • Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping of plant and buildings.
    • Checks flocculent and lime pumps dosing visually and on computer system.

    Explosives Engineer

    Job Description

    The incumbent has a key role within AEL as a direct link with the customer. Quality measurements and records are maintained of all production activities on site and any technical requirements by the customer are acknowledged.     Job Description    
    Senmin is looking to recruit a SAP PM Master Data Specialist to work in Sasolburg on a 3 month contract. Transfer maintenance data/plans/structures/rules etc. for migration to SAP PM.Senmin supplies a range of chemicals used in the beneficiation of minerals. Most of its products are utilised in the froth flotation and tailings treatment segments of the mining industry in South Africa, Southern Africa and further afield. In addition, Senmin provides customers with value-adding expertise in the handling and dosage of its products.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Build functional location structures in SAP PM.
    • Define and plan planner groups, main work centers and work centers in SAP PM.
    • Industrial equipment knowledge.
    • Build maintenance plans for groups and individual equipment.
    • Liaise with relevant parties (OEM’s SME’s etc.) in creating maintenance plans.
    • Use & scrutinize current system data and prepare for transfer to SAP PM.
    • Present first line SAP training.
    • SAP PM data experience.
    • Scrutinize and cleanup of current maintenance data.
    • Plan maintenance plan structure.

    Qualifications & Experience    

    • Matric / Grade 12.
    • Qualified artisan.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
    • Proven planning & fault-finding ability.
    • Expert SAP PM knowledge.
    • Formal SAP training required.
    • Maintenance planner experience will be an advantage.
    • SAP user experience.
    • Must have been involved in SAP PM implementation.
    • Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
    • Computer literate: skilled in MS Excel & SAP.
